Most of these films are infamous within movie buff circles. The only people who would the entire video without recognizing one are people that are stuck squarely in the hollywood mainstream.
Spring would be a good one for the list
I'd say most of us have at least heard of all of thesw
Saw Black Sheep, Bad Taste, Nightbreed, Tokyo Gore Police
Tokyo Gore Police also stars the WONDERFUL Eihi Shiina. Asami from Audition.
I LOVE THIS WOMAN.
Peter Jackson made "Brain Dead" ("Dead Alive" in some countries) which is very weird as well and also a much better film than Bad Taste.
Yeah i was about to say, almost all of these are mentioned on a daily basis.
Lots of know-it-all "I have seen everything and everyone who hasn't seen all the stuff that I have is stupid" type of People in these comments. I have heard of about half of these movies and only seen a couple of them and by no means do i only watch mainstream horror movies.
Nightbreed was absolutely fabulous, and the Director's Cut (which added around 45 minutes) was even better!
FINALLY the amazing movie that is Black Sheep makes a list. This movie is so good and should be more well known.
Who hasn’t heard of nightbreed though?
Ellie must have written this list. Bad Taste, Nightbreed, Tokyo Gore Police….who hasn't heard of these??
Even though I have some these movies on dvd I never heard of them, as usual whoever type up the title of the video doesn't have much emanative.
Seen all oh these, better luck next list. 😂
10 weirdest horror movies that are also incredibly popular cult horror films
Heard of all of these and seen most of them. Really feel like WhatCulture needs to hire some older people who can really help with pulling out some movies that have been lost to time. Instead of Slugs, how about The Nest? Instead of Bad Taste, how about Bad Channels? Frogs? Witchboard? Judgement Night? There are tons of movies out there that modern audiences don't know. Stop churning up the same handful under different lists.
What about the sheep?
Fuck the sheep!
No time for that bro!
Hell Gate (so awful) and The Refrigerator should have been on the list.
You watched Slugs!!
I have seen 6 of the listed and enjoyed them immensely. But some of these are not that rare…. but depending on your habits they can be difficult to catch.
Not only have i heard of most of these, but you loons mention them on here a lot, get a grip WhatCulture.
Black Sheep is hilarious. Santa's Slay is my favorite Christmas movie. I've seen several on this list. Great list though.
I actually watched Black Sheep . It was weird but really good!
Lol ! I knew I was weird ! I've seen all but 2 of these movies!
Bite was awesome !! 😍
If you watch this channel, you definitely heard of and probably have seen night breed. Come on what culture, you all are getting lazy with these lists.
Nightbreed is truly an underrated gem
Not only have I heard of all ten of these movies, I've also watched them numerous times over the years since I first seen them!!😊😊
I've heard of all but one of them, and have seen most at least once.
lol Nightbreed…um there is a special edition version, I think people have heard of it
Good list of lesser known movies. I've seen them all except The Happiness of The Katakuris. LOVED Bite! It's one of those movies that to hear it described might make you just roll your eyes but the execution was outstanding. Bite, Starry Eyes, Borderlands/Final Prayer and Baskin are some of the top movies I suggest when someone is looking for recent but less well known horror movies. Not saying they are all super weird, but they are pretty weird.
Anyone that’s a fan of horror in general knows about Nightbreed.
This is what you get when you have to make a video a day.
Aaaah Lure… It's polish movie and as polish guy I'm glad it got some recognision here… It's quite good. Foreign people may have some hard time to understand everything since it is set in polish "reality" (its hard to explain) but it is worth checking out…
seen all cept number 3
I can't believe I still haven't seen Santa's Slay. It was filmed where I live!
Another one to see is, "Let the Wrong One In". It's a comedy out of Ireland about 2 brothers who became vampires and are out to get the queen vampire. Its a lot of fun
You’re telling me there’s another little mermaid knockoff with stripper mermaids???
I've seen all but 2: The Lure and Aah! Zombies!
Does that say more about me, or WhatCulture – recycling old lists yet again. At least put a new v/o artist on it! Or is Jules freelancing?
It would help if these hadn't been on dozens of your prior lists.
I watched Nightbreed years ago
I'M A DEREK, AND DEREKS DON'T RUN!
Tokoyo gore police movie based on a awesome anime.
They showed "Santa's Slay" last October in the 31 days of Halloween. It was stupid. 😂
I have a slug phobia due to a childhood incident. So number 5 would be a hard no.
Nightbreed is, easily, in my top 5 horror movies of all time. Absolutely love it! And the novella (Cabal) is just as good.
You guys need a new writer for the page? I can make better lists
Never heard of?? I've at least heard of most of these.
Almost all of these were just b-movie horror comedy cult classics. Considering I typed “obscure horror movies” into google and got a ton of lists with movies that I haven’t heard of and that haven’t been seen on this channel before, this video was extremely lazy.
