U forgot see no evil. It was definitely an unexpected twist when I first saw it
How would you know what women protagonists were like in the 70s, propagandist?
The Grudge 2 it’s switched between Audrey, Alison, and Jake
Uh, Psycho?
What about Terrifier?
Where the fuck is Psycho?!
Excuse me – Ripley is NOT the SOLE survivor of the Nostromo. You put respect on Jonesy’s name! 🐈
A Nightmare On Elm Street 1984
Friday The 13th 1980
Identity is one of my favorite movies. I was diagnosed in 2002 with DID so I understand what he went through, plus I got to meet Pruitt Taylor Vince a couple of years ago and what a total sweetheart!
Skinnamarink. Little girl to little boy. Spoliers:

I think. Who even knows. Like, WTF movie. Seriously, just… WTAF.
Seeing Feast on this list warms my heart.
Unpopular opinion:
Aliens is so dang overrated.
It's almost always in every list… 🙄🙄
Your writers need to let the whole 'leaves her to die' thing from 28 weeks later go. SHE made stupid decisions and there really was nothing he could do for her at the time, beside die himself.

In Fabric also has a character switch. Unfortunately, the first story was way better than the second.
FEAST is a seriously underrated and fun ride of a film! I do wish they'd taken my suggestion for a 4th installment. Feast 4: Just Desserts!
I remember critics piling on Identity back then. I thought it was a solid thriller and was really confused what the problem with the movie was.
I wouldn't say AJ is ever a main character. Wither way, it isn't really a switch since Tess is always the main character.
I LOVE Deathproof!!!
Psycho
Bringing up how rare the double-switch is in #5 after it already happened in #10 & #9 (given that for 9, it switches from the first protagonist, to the second, then to the pair of them) seems kind of silly.
