  1. Just want to point out that Mortal Kombat 1 is terrible on Gameboy, yes, but Mortal Kombat 2 is excellent, with very decent and responsive gameplay, it really feels right. Mortal Kombat 3 in the other hand is terrible, but the worst offender is Mortal Kombat 4 on Gameboy Color. It plays very bad and the graphics, looks like an 8 years old has drawn it on paint. The series redeem itself again with Mortal Kombat V on Gameboy Advance, this game translates very well the polygonal original game to pre rendered graphics and mode 7 on arenas. While not a perfect port, is totally playable and feels like MK V.

  2. Funny fact about the side scroll problem on the PC with SMB Special: John Carmack (ID Software) actually fixed this problem and made a SMB3 test port for the PC and offered Nintendo to release it. Nintendo rejected the idea and so they ended up making the Commander Keen series.

  3. I strongly disagree about Perfect Dark on the GBC, I had hours of fun with that when I was 16! 😄 But still a great video. Though, if you'd dropped the Perfect Dark GBC entry, you could've talked about Sonic Jam on the Gamecom! …I'm not putting the dot in that system's name, or YouTube'll think I'm trying to write a link and they'll likely delete this comment.

  4. “Call of Duty was just a little PC FPS as there were 5 years before a home console release”

Who wrote this awful line? Apart from the OG CoD being very popular, therefore calling it “little” is… weird, but maybe there is humor there that I didn’t get.

However, the 5 year bit is simply not true. Call of Duty 2 was a launch title for the Xbox 360 in 2005, a year before that was CoD: Finest Hour on PS2/Xbox/Gamecube. The original CoD was 2003.

Pls read wikipedia before writing such nonsense.

  5. I played through tomb raider on the n-gage (also finished thps, and ashen) and i really don't get all the hate this phone got. most people hating on this little taco nowadays probably never had one. it was waaay ahead of it's time especially considering the included mp3 player and the emulators you could install on it.

  6. Far Cry Vengeance is another one, a wii port (with some new content thrown in) of Far Cry Instincts Evolution. Has what you expect of a shoddy wii port, bad draw distance frame rate and very janky aiming controls before Metroid Prime perfected it in the Trilogy release. It also retells the story in the most embarrassing, cool only for a 12 year old way possible.

  7. I unironically love "Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop". It's a very good game. It's essentially a more arcadey feeling version of the first Dead Rising and controls great. It is much less frustrating. Biggest downsides: mpeg cutscenes (so, no costume changes in cutscenes), feels maybe a little too easy, and less epic.
