Just because there’s a massive outbreak of cordyceps leading to the collapse of society doesn’t mean all diseases suddenly disappear. We see with frank that despite surviving everything else he eventually drops. We also see that something else is in food storage waiting to break through the surface but also what is that as well? Well let’s discuss that in today’s episode!
Thank you for watching Roanoke Gaming and I hope you enjoy The Last of Us Ep 3 and 4 Explored | What was in Food Storage and What Disease Did Frank Have?

Hello
Very good video!
Hell Yeah!
Plasma cutter from dead space ?
Questions: is the marker a A.I ?
Yeah dude if I were but in the neck I would just decapitate myself and my body would grow another head.
Why don’t they just eat it?
Honestly I think you should reenact all these deaths deadspace style.
I feel like everyone in real life in this situation would make improvised flame throwing weapons 😎 PLASMA THROWER WHEN???
First time I’ve seen your face
Wonder if you could just induce a fever to raise your body temp. I know the last of us cordyceps has evolved to withstand higher temps. I just wonder how much it can handle.
lol so decapitation would stop you from turning. now you just have to deal with the new problem of not being attached to a body.
What amount of spores/fungus causes irreversible changes in humans though? If you just got 0.1 grams or millimeters of spores or whatever in your leg, can your own white cells kill it? After all it's still a foreign body, your own organism would fight like hell.
We can observe that the fungus basically grows indefinitely in you once you get bitten, but there has to be a minimum amount of spores that is required to overcome any and all internal and external difficulties in multiplying inside another being, right?
This makes me want to ask another question: For creatures who’s bodies run incredibly hot, like the Titans from Attack On Titan, would a disease be able to establish themselves within their bodies? Would they adapt to the higher temperatures like the diseases in bats do, or would they not have the chance considering Titans are hot enough to steam?
Okay, so I've been out of the conversation on this due to illness (irony), but why would anti-fungals not work? We DO have treatments for these diseases, just not this particular strain, so do they HAVE to be strain specific? Or is it just because it moves too fast?
As crazy as it sounds how likely is it for the cordyceps to cause more infected to mesh together like the Rat King in the Last of us part 2?
So what I’m getting from this is the best way to do things is to lop off my bitten limb with a lightsaber for best results?
Wouldn't the infection spread too fast for amputation to be effective? seeing as blood Circulates pretty fast.
So if you put a lightsabre to the bite…
Algorithm, Algorithm. We don't need no stinken algorithm.
Robot arm time
If Sam became a clicker in the last of us would he still be deaf since clickers use sound
doesn't the blood stream move fast enough to negate hacking off the limb or plasma burning the area?
Would you do a video on Primeval fungus
Glad to see u getting into the YouTube shorts I saw your first short and was worried u were turned off of them
In dead space lore u can't killnecromorphs only cut off their limbs to disable them but since doing so would cause massive haemorrhage that would game end them? Blood is crucial for movement(I think) so without blood they either die or go into a state of inactivity right?
I never really had the thought. What if you carterize the bite
How about chemo? 🤔
Not how I pictured you, thought you’d be fair
Please do a video on the biology and physiology and morphology of the devil jin from Tekken please 🥺 ?
Considering the fungus seems to have survived high enough temperatures to infect people after using the infected flour/yeast and baking it into cookies and biscuits, don’t think this would actually work
Have you done the flood from halo before??
I didn't know you had a face!? Love your videos bro.
What if you get bit, starting at the feet?
I have a question, when are you going to do a video on everyone's favorite intergalactic blue booty species, aka the Asari? I also want to know what you think of two of my theories.
1. In Fallout, I theorize that the Glowing Ones exist because of Mutant Microbiome Bacteria able to tolerate, store or consume radiation.
2. That the survivors in left 4 dead are really just another form of special infected given the superhuman tolerances they show throughout the course of the game.
also I disagree, no gigachad status for the dumbass who cauterizes their jugular vein after a fungus zambie uses it as a chewtoy.
AYYYYY, how long have you been doing shorts for?!
What if once the bite is initiated the mycelium jumps into the neuropathic highway thus making infection instantaneous but it takes a little bit of time for the mycelium to trace out the full Neuro pathways, but once it does it has full control. Does that make sense or am I just fucking retarded
Well if you get bite in the neck, amputation wouldnt work neither… Lmao 😂🤣🤦😉
How possible is it for the frankenfish monster to exist? Seeing as deep sea gigantism is a real thing, is it possible for genetic mutation to happen this high up on land to animals that live in aquatic environments
