They include an obvious shout out to vitamin c and retinol and peptides but also glycerine the perfect humectant at 3-5% for skin, madecassoside the active part of centella asiatica for soothing and anti redness in skincare. Amla extracts that are rich in tannins as an antioxidant to protect skin from pollution and blue light. Lipex Shea Butter sourced from Burkina Fasso and supporting the female collective of farmers. Fukogel a biosaccharide gum to sooth skin and act as a sensorial ingredient that also restores the skin barrier. Emulsifiers including emulium mellifera the first auto climatic adjusting emulsifier. Algae oil for lightweight moisturising and for hair two star ingredients the acetyltetrapeptide red clover combination that promotes hair into a longer anagen growth phase and a revolution in styling ingredient called sodium polyitoconate for flexible non crunchy styles.

  1. Brilliantly informative chat. Great to hear about ingredients and formulation from someone who is clearly not to be messed with in terms of expertise instead of hearing about loads of expensive brands … although I do like those sometimes too.

  2. Nadine, this was BRILLIANT! So much so, I have watched you and Lorna TWICE!! This is what we ALL need to know. It was great how Lorna explained the costs associated with products. The research, raw product cost and testing which we sometimes forget, when we question the price of products. And also not to forget the tried and trusted ingredients!
