It's sad but I feel like the true essence of COD Zombies died a long long time ago. I miss the days where me and my friends would watch the Easter egg tutorials, joining in on the hunts, being hyped and discussing the lore. I wish they could bring that feeling back. Maybe I'm just getting old.
I hope unlike with Zombies they havent changed too much with Spec Ops, if they even included it in this game. I am so tired of modern Zombies modes. They shifted from challenging and fun gameplay to holding your hand type of effortless easter egg chasing with a bunch of cutscenes and story dumps nobody really cares about. Story has become a way to distract from tedious or boring gameplay these days. Back in the day fun gameplay was all that mattered and story was only there to accompany it.
There will probably a alternative history for zombies. Kinda like ghost extinction, where the extinction history takes place after the missiles strikes and odin revealed a secret accident civilization ect.
The red theme is absolutely because they thought continuing with green would make MWIII look too similar to MWII. The marketing team is fighting an uphill battle to prove that this isn't a rehash of the same game they released a year ago. If this game was coming out after another Treyarch and Sledgehammer game, I would bet every last dollar that this would all be green still

Even if they confirmed zombies in this game I wouldn't get too excited until we see some actual gameplay of the mechanics. In 2023 I'm still going back to good old black ops 3 with zombies chronicle, even though I already did most easter eggs these maps are just the best. They don't spoon feed you the easter egg you actually have to work for it and the zombies are lethal. I miss that gameplay and I don't think we will see it again, unfortunately…
i feel like i should be hyped rn but im not which is kind if a let down. Not sure if its because im growing up and becoming bored of cod as a whole but whatever it is its kinda worrying
also the date for when mw3 comes out looks like the background from the mob of the dead date reveal or one of the bo3 zombies maps im not sure which one but its giving me those sort of vibes
Ok, what will they do ? Everyone knows the dark aether is well known, plus treyarch made it happen. What will mw3 bring something bad or something better listening up to the fans
