Not gonne lie, iam kinda over this Genre.
Its boring run after boring run with little differences, then spent alot into meta progression for tiny upgrades and start the circle again.
I think this Genre realy needs some fresh ideas to get me interested again.

Absolutely no hate btw, just find it interesting how often I see people missing stuff in games, when I know I scan the scene in most, if not all the games I play. Just shows how differently people's minds work.
It looks to me like the spear attack was always going in the direction of travel, and opposite to that, however, there appears to be a very minor delay between first thrust and second, and if you changed direction in that time period, than the second trust would take the reverse of wherever you were traveling at that point.
Yeah him not seeing the evolution list really triggered me.
Impressions from someone who loves the genre and plays an absolute ton of it:
1. The combat feels somewhat basic, but is clean and satisfying
2. The extraction gimmick actually sounds like a fun variant
3. The meta upgrades are the primary differentiator here
All in all, I'll certainly buy it and play a bit myself. Thanks for continuously growing my backlog, Wander. 😀

Have you tried the old flash game “Rebuild 3” on Armor Games? I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Clearing out an actual city from the zombies in the shortest time and upgrades between maps and endless mode. It is one of my favorites.
