Zombie High (1987)

Join Vincent and Tangella as they watch “Zombie High” from 1987 with Virginia Madsen and Sherilyn Fenn.

In “Zombie High,” a 1987 blend of comedy and horror, Virginia Madsen stars as Andrea, a determined teenager who confronts eerie transformations at a prestigious boarding school. Winning a scholarship to Ettinger, Andrea leaves her boyfriend behind, anticipating academic success. Instead, she stumbles upon a chilling secret: the school is altering its students into obedient, unemotional drones through a sinister method. The faculty’s dark agenda involves extracting chemicals from students to enforce conformity. When Andrea discovers that rock music might reverse the brainwashing, a desperate fight for survival begins. Amidst classical conditioning and a race against time, Andrea and her allies must outsmart a diabolical scheme to preserve their identities. “Zombie High” weaves suspense and dark humor, exploring themes of individuality versus conformity in a setting where not everything is as perfect as it seems.
