  1. You can buy ammo and other things from any merchant, just switch categories in the vertical icons menu on the left of the trade screen. BTW, 3D version of this game is Escape From Tarkov 🙂

  2. The game has a really pleasant feel to it! Discovered it myself back in November and I was surprised how long it kept surprising me—would love to watch more of it through the eyes of someone who's not too familiar with this type of thing!

  3. So… Stalker Anomaly next? 😛

1:30 If you just want to overwrite the savefile you can start a new game and pick an existing slot.
2:00 Tbh, without difficulty options the main thing that controlls your progression is knowledge (self imposed rules aside). It might feel difficult for the first couple of hours, but once you've learned some stuff, you can start with anything, drop all your items, including a gun and a backpack, and in a few hunts you'll already be snowballing.
Very similar to DF in this sense, newbie can run a blessed biome fort into the ground, but with some experience starting haunted won't be a problem.

14:00 With a bit of experience and better gear you can get 700-1000 exp per hunt and you only really need lvl 4 to unlock most of the useful stuff (lvl 5 for some extra bits), so along with exp from quests it's not that bad.

Also, for new players I'd recommend going into video settings and increasing fog density (?) the bottom option, it darkens the areas out of your line of sight, making it clear what you can and cannot see.
