  1. Technically, the Lightning Temple is in design not a pyramid, but a ziggurat like the ones from the cities of Ur and Eridu. They are also found in Mesoamerica, mostly built by the Mayans and Aztecs. But ziggurats did not serve as tombs, more like personal temples for the city's patron god/goddess. This Temple seems to be a hybrid style of a pyramid and a ziggurat. The room that houses the secret stone proves the connection further. It is fairly disconnected from the rest of the Lightning Temple, located on the top floor, far more ornate than the any other room. This is very similar to ziggurats, where only priests and others highly respected by society were allowed in the structure on top, said to house the gods.
(P.S These are just my interpretations anyway.)

  3. Not sure how you can make videos of such high quality so soon after the game's release, but we're very grateful. These last two videos finally convinced me to subscribe. Would love to hear your thoughts on the timeline placement! (I know, everyone is probably asking for this πŸ˜…)

  5. A lot of people have noticed that zonai symbols were on the fused shadow, i think thats because in twilight princess, it says the spirits if light decended from the heavens and banished an evil, or the twili. So its possible that the zonai were the ones who banished the twilight and created the fused shadow. You may be thinking of the actual spirits of light in twilight princess, i think these are the spirtits of the zonai in animal form, which is actually not the first, kaepira gaebora from oot which is raurus spirit in the form of an animal,

  6. I still think they should have made a more direct reference to Hylia when naming the Light Dragon, like they did with Din(raal), Nay(ru)dra and Faro(re)sh.

When I first saw those "fifth race" statues I though they look like slightly stylized Mogma, which would make so much sense since they are mole people and like to dig for treasure (from what we know from Skyward Sword). I mean, the other statues also are slightly stylized compared to present day versions of them. Seeing the Goron statues even made me think they look more like Twilight Princess Gorons, or maybe Skyward Sword ones, I don't remember if they tattooed themself then (or at least the one we met in Skyward Sword).

Also they totally should have put in Mogma and Subrosians in the depths. It would have fitted so perfectly and the depths themself hadn't much going on for the most part so it would have been a nice nod to us day one NES-Zelda fans.

  7. I don’t get to play video games often. I didn’t want to beat it without doing every shine and exploring. Today finished the shrines and the game. Thank you to the Zelda community for not spoiling the game on the internet. Cheers.

  8. I think that the first ghost Zelda we see, is not a Ganondorf puppet, but a short telling of what happened to her. Ganondorf's puppets usually vanish in gloom/malice, while this ghost Zelda vanishes in golden light
