Key points about Nebuchadnezzar
(Daniel 2:13-24; 5:19)

1. “The name Nebuchadnezzar #means, Nebo protect the boundary.” (Zondervan dictionary). “Protector of the boarder.” 🤔 Do you understand that this is an end-time prophesy?

2. He issued a decree to kill the wise men, Daniel and his friends (Dan 2:3).

3. Do you realized that he sent an army officer, a #commander (turned the military on his citizens to help him kill the men (Dan 2:4).

4. Daniel prays for wisdom. Nothing wins God’s heart more quickly than someone praying for wisdom (2:18).

5. Nebuchadnezzar killed whomever he wanted to kill, kept alive whomever he wanted to” He had been given power to do anything he wanted. (Dan5:19)

6. Promote who he wants promoted.

7. These signs have many purposes: the information is to help us make decisions. They raise safety awareness by warning us about behavior in people to persuade you to do or not do something. Some people are inspired to create a name for themself moreso than serving the people. But see how God rises in troubled times.

YWHW, is Commander of Heavens Armies “ I give my power to no one.” No one can jeopardize God’s plans for you or his world. Trust in God!

Josh 5:4 (never give away your power).
I am the “commander” of the LORD’s army. “Now I have come.” Joshua meets an angel approaches the warrior angel and ask, “are you for us or for our adversaries?” The man replied, No! I have come as God’s commander. [Let this verse remind you not to give away your power to others]. [As with Joshua this angel is here, now so #beprayerful]

Isaiah 55:4 Messiah’s Return.
Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and “commander” for the people. Understand something, these three words, “for the people.” The prophet Isaiah is prophesying of a feast that YHWH of Hosts, (The Commander) of Heavens armies will prepare to celebrate His victories over kingdoms on earth. Jesus is the source of your empowerment.

To give you more meaning of YHWH’s #power Daniel’s prayer translates the concepts of real #power designated to the Most High God. Also it’s the clearest text that our life is a daily #war (evil spirits) wants to kill us; it is the same for evil and the righteous people. Get it straightened in your mind.

Daniel 11:8 angel provides help
The angel Gabriel gives Daniel details of exact political developments and alliances to be formed the “Last Days” with strongmen and affect all people worldwide. Daniel sees the “man” not woman, the man is called #antichrist. This man is “the one” who will lead the world into tumultuous politics and international chaos. This verse describes the action the man will carry out: Taking people captive similar to Egypt, take away their gods, intelligent young men, precious silver and gold. He uses women even his daughters.

Daniel 11:17-15
The king of the North will come and build up siege ramps and will capture a fortified city. The forces of the South…even there best troops will not have the strength to stand.🩸16 This invader will do as he pleases…He will establish himself in the Beautiful Land and will have the power to destroy it.

The Plan will not succeed!
17 He will determine to come with the might of his entire kingdom… give a daughter in marriage in order to overthrow the kingdom, but his plans will not succeed or help him.

He will be defeated and ashamed.
18 he will turn his attention to the coastlands and will take many of them, but a commander will put an end to his insolence and will turn his insolence back upon him.

Daniel mourned greatly over the world’s sins willingly live a lifestyle of fasting abstained from eating the delicacies of Nebuchadnezzar’s table.

What lesson should we learn about wicked rulers? When the king literally, became a beast, Daniel continued to pray for him, because YHWH had given him understanding. Self-indulgence stubbornness opened up the king to be #manipulated by Satan.

Satan only needs one body to operate in which is why he pleaded with Eve to partake in the knowledge of good and evil to use us to attack ourselves.

2 ki 25: Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his host, against Jerusalem, and they built forts against it round about.

2 Ch 36:7 Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, bound a perceived enemy in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.

Nebuchadnezzar was put in office to “serve the people” but being a tyrant snatching, killing and abusing people shows how Satan corrupted his heart. Notice it took Daniel’s prayer for him to be given back a human heart.

God promises wisdom, invisibility, visibility, protect those who look to Him for salvation. Daniel’s prayers gives you a taste of wisdom, light, rest from wickedness. It show clumsiness of those who put faith in #Satan, dysfunction, in the way the king sentences the sorcerers, and righteous to be killed. Satan had him despised people.

This passage compose, the reason why we must trust YHWH God.
