@lex Friedman, please come to India
Please conduct a few podcast episodes with important people from India.
I'd argue this definition of conscience at the start is just part of the intelligence we evolved as part of solving the problem of survival. There's no point to happiness nor sadness except as reward and penalty functions.
I challenge anyone to one line of the bibi part that can't be changed without context.
lex, you reached a new low on this one…..unsubbing
I wonder why so many people disliked this episode. I guess they didn't like to hear that their religion is just a made up story :))
Beautiful. Lex please get Dr. Greer on for UFO/UAP enlightenment.
Omg Lex's obsession with humanizing AI is just so gross
Language made comunication possible, not some story as he says. Chimps cant do it.
Bro, u really need a wife and some kids, this AI obsession is ruining your mind
21:05 I am half shimp
"We *acked the *umans"
*arrari 2022.
Yuval, Lex, thank you for sharing your wisdom.
This guy has better insights and actionable advice about AI than any AI/(or related) researcher. This is because he practices Vipassana meditation unlike most if not all of the others.
Glad he also was flabbergasted by Benjamin Netanyahu immediately dismissing the notion that absolute power corrupts absolutely.
of course when you are a member of a cabal trying to get world control, you would say it's all a conspiracy theory… 𤣠Like his litlle WEF friends. then he says it's intellectual integrity…. HE HAS NONE
women did not break any omelette because one they cannot use violence against men and two most men allowed for the change to happen without need for the violence.
Know your enemy. I'm gonna try to listen to this evil man.
Very good episode! Thank you.
1:51:24 "Secret cabals do not have power". This is not true. Secret cabals can gain a lot of power and maintain it over the time more easy. It harder for a public entity to maintain power because where is something wrong it's blame by population. If you have power you are responsible.
â.. Spiritual enslavement that we will not be able to break out of.â
â˘Fridman's career began at Google, where he worked on machine learning. He currently is a research scientist at MIT. (Wikipedia)
My ideas about this topic are incomplete and so I will refrain from commenting further at this time; but thank you for your work in this field.
If you are interested in the Product Space and how knowledge is distributed across people in economies, you should interview Ricardo Hausmann.
Sorry, where in the Ten Commandments does it talk about â coveting your neighbourâs slavesâ ?
Love is a fake idea? Is that what you said? I think you are so wrong about that, Lex Fridman. You get back in there and go after it. Itâs not gonna find you; you are going to find it.
Oh look, antichrist is the guest!
Many people in the comments are idiots.
He doesn't know what intelligence is. He confuses and mingles wisdom with intelligence
The more he speaks the more shock I'm in that people think he's intelligent. Obviously not wise, yet his ignorance is astounding… To think he has Klaus Schwab's ear isn't just laughable, it shows the great ignorance of the wef itself. Pathetic even.
I find Harari a bit scary.
A lot of what he says is more repeating of opinion rather than fact, especially when talking about pre-history, about which there is a limited amount of data, and much is supposition. And it seems he is convinced he is right.
Also he presents his version of more recent history as factual, which it may or may not be accurate, the devil is often in the detail and history is written by the victors. I have a problem with people who have trouble in accepting they may be wrong, that they may have bias, and those who have too much power and influence. He may be a good student, good talker, good writer, good academic, but that does not mean he is always right. Fame can destroy people, they start to believe they are great, believe their PR.
Please remember Harari is just a man like anyone else and all of us have a good and evil side. He shares his opinions but he is not the Messiah, (he night be âa very naughty boyâ)he may also be a valuable asset to evil people who would like to control the narrative.
He might be a nice guy, I donât know but be careful of people who are the poster boys for the new era. They are human too, and we can all be wrong.
Well done to Lex Fridman though for his interesting guests and interviews.
Great interview!
Awesome interview Lex, thank you!
Why did he disconnect "God" (im no atheist either) from our technology .. thats essentially god's work too right?
No we do have proof that other people are conscious. The alternative would be that everyone else in the world is involved in a conspiracy to fool you.
