Yukon Bound on the Alaska Highway

The Canadian journey continues as we return to British Columbia, this time the northeast corner, and travel the Alaska Highway up to the Yukon. Along the way there are bears, bison, stone sheep, and other wildlife. I meet a guy walking more than 16,000 miles. Why he is doing this? Find out! I meet a woman who tells me that President Joe Biden and his son Hunter are dead and played by Hollywood actors wearing skin masks. Does she know something we don’t?

Boondocking in these parts can be hazardous to your health and your life and you’ll learn why! And it’s not the wildlife (for the most part anyway)!

I learned that I was deep in Sasquatch country, where sightings have occurred. Learn about the Alaska Highway and have a look at a First Nations community. We check out a couple of museums, camp beside a wild river, explore abandoned settlements, and get smothered in wildfire smoke on occasion. There’s waterfalls, big rivers, and much more!

  1. You always meet such cool people on the road Rockhopper! Natasha and Michael have great causes they are bringing attention to. Very nice of Amanda to warn you of possible death if boondocking in area. I read that RV people have mentioned mice chewing wires and causing expensive electrical damage. Someone said to put strip lights under RV at night, because mice do not like the light. Probably tough to do when boondocking though. Matt Foley probably had no idea that vanlife would make living in a van down by the river cool. Congrats on surviving your childhood challenges and living a positive life Rockhopper! Keep up the great work, safe travels!!
