Struggling boutique bookseller Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan) hates Joe Fox (Tom Hanks), the owner of a corporate Foxbooks chain store that just moved in across the street. When they meet online, however, they begin an intense and anonymous Internet romance, oblivious of each other’s true identity. Eventually Joe learns that the enchanting woman he’s involved with is actually his business rival. He must now struggle to reconcile his real-life dislike for her with the cyber love he’s come to feel.

  1. I honestly like this more than the other Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan romcom Sleepless in Seattle but that one's a classic too!
nooo I'm a bit sad the scene where Joe finds out Shopgirl's identity and their subsequent meeting at the cafe got cut 🙁

  2. Check out Saint Seiya – Legend of Sanctuary, it's an animation of a classic 80s anime of the same name, you can watch the movie even if you haven't seen the anime, I'm sure you'll love it!! If you have difficulty finding the movie with english subtitles, it's available on the Internet Archive

  3. Hi Tim I really enjoy your "You've Got Mail" reactions and comments . This is one of my favorite movies Ever. I am not from N.Y. but everything about this movie is WHY I Love N.Y. . I appreciate your take on their situation to how things unfolded . This is one of my favorite reactions in your channel…. I could not actually tell if you enjoyed this movie or if it felt to predictable to you . I hope you enjoyed making this reaction . The generational differences between yours and mine are pretty vast but even when I was a teenager I have always been told I have a young soul .
Most of my friends I have ever had are younger than me so I get why or how even when I am feeling nostalgic for my past via All of that…. I understand what younger generations mean. Now I will not always agree with other generations but honestly I do not like or agree with possibly most people of my own generation .
Wow! Your reactions and comments here for "You've Got Mail" really gave me a deep feeling of nostalgia ….I have always liked the idea of owning a little cozy book store and my sister would have her own little flower shop. "You've Got Mail"…. your reactions for this I will watch this one again .
Thank you for ending my Saturday night on such a precious note . I Hope you and your family have a Wonderful 2025.

  6. Too bad the editing cuts off again and again to the point where it makes no sense why some parts were left on the final cut. Please check before uploading them why they cut scenes in the middle of a sentence not letting it play out.

  7. The song Annabelle sings is from the musical Annie (appropriate for her name), which has been adapted as a feature film twice and as a TV movie at least twice more. If you ever wanted to watch, I recommend the 70s version, it's the easiest to find and truer to the source material (Although I love the TV version they put out a few years ago, it's only available through the Broadway HD streaming service)
