You're Still Covered | Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts

Message: β€œYou’re Still Covered”
Scriptures: Exodus 16:3-8 (NKJV)
Speaker: Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts
Date: Aug. 11, 2024

Freedom isn’t free. It requires trust in God, especially during uncertain times. In moments like these, you may feel exposed and vulnerable β€” similar to how the Israelites felt in the wilderness after their Egyptian exodus. But through it all, God is still with you! His expression just might look different. He is the God of breakthrough and the God of follow-through that will sustain you in uncharted territory. He provided bread from heaven for the hungry Israelites, teaching them to rely on Him daily. So stay connected, and let His presence be your source of strength in times of struggle.

  2. I look at every type of woman and every type of man and I look in the mirror and ask myself what do I see in me. It's not good what I feel inside. I look at the person I want to be from my heart and the figure of what society sees me as. I think how I can love myself how do I change myself to be the person I can love. How do I get through the pain. How do I get over people letting me down but how do I get over letting me down. How do I love myself when I see this ugly monster from the things said. God says don't compare myself but I do everyday. The bodies the face the intelligence the leadership. All I see is the pain in learning the truth that feels denied to me. It hurts because I want over the things that hold me back from truly becoming and walking in my purpose of life.

  3. I want to move on and wake up happy thankful to God and rejoice instead of feeling hurt anger everyday. I don't want to wait for some approval from anyone for me to be better feel better despite how much they want to think bad of me. I think my heart is good and sweet and respectful but the pain is hurtful ugly and I just want to feel better and not lose myself from hurting seeing through the lens you speak about. Not just the lens of seeing others but seeing myself and how easy I was to give anything myself money time effort respect all the things I never gave myself.

You showd me what true love is. Through all the anxiety and fears I still trust you. This season of my life hurts so much has I keep thinking about the past amd if I had only stayed obedient and had Jesus as the centre of my life, I would have had it all. I know that nothing Its ever too late for you, I know that you were are and will always be part of my life. Suffering in silence and only crying at night it's very hard but I know you are here. I will continue to be obedient. You have blessed me so much and I'm trully grateful and thankful for everything you have done to me.
