I was on Oahu recently to teach a digital media workshop and I hit up Bruddah Elton (@Wheel Tok ) to see if John and I could join him and his crew on one of their weekly rides. He of course said yes and even offered to loan me one of his bikes, a Sunday 29″. He also got Bruddah Pauly (@PolyC ) to loan John his same Sunday 29″ and so John and I had matching bikes! I’ve seen Elton’s videos for awhile and I have been looking forward to meeting him in person and talking story with him. During the ride I got a chance to learn more about him, his roots in BMX, and the rides they have been consistently going on each week for the past two years. Elton is the truest example of the “Aloha Spirit” and I had a blast getting to know him and his friends on this ride and I can’t wait to join them again the next time I am on Oahu! I even got to meet Ryan, one of my subscribers too! Mahalos to Elton, Pauly, Ryan, and the entire gang for just being super friendly and taking the time to chat with myself or John. You guys are AWESOME!
