  1. As far as I am concerned, the Captain was in the wrong. He was not the one present in the situation with all of the facts to make a decision. He had no business issuing a direct order from outside, and he really should have known better. As XO, you really should have been able to call him out on that directly during your discussion. But I guess they got mostly there.

  2. 25:34 "clearly the hotari have been exploited in this relationship."

i didn't come to the same conclusions, lieutenant. definitely without the same certainty. the alydians could retake the moon, but instead they support a third party arbiter to help ease tensions. i feel like the hotari, being the more "primitive" species, have overreached. seems to me that both species previously leveraged their strengths for an equitable balance. but we'll see! more information needed.

  3. Okay, so I bought it… and I'm absolutely loving it!! The decisions I've made so far differently to yours have had little impact other than the person I'm speaking to has a line that reacts to the choice I made, and then they carry on with the story beat exactly the same (probably to be expected, a lot like how Dragon Age, Fallout etc. does it), but it'll be really interesting to see how much of a difference it makes to which paths I can choose much later down the line with regards to how much different characters love/hate me. Can't wait to binge this on the weekend!
I think a lot of love has gone into this game from a relatively small team, and it really shows. I love it!

  4. Do IT. I like it! Also I will say that as the XO she was acting Captain. The 'Captain' was not only NOT on the bridge, during a Red Alert situation, He was not even on the ship. She Was Absolutely In Command. The XO HAS to be qualified and READY to assume that command, and the Captain MUST trust their abilities and allow them to do their job. Mom and Dad should NEVER argue in front of the kids. It shows his deficiencies, just how much everything has worn on him and does not bode well for the future. We shall see what we shall see…

Looking forward to more LL. 👀💯

  5. There's a fantastic scene in TNG, S7E5 (Gambit Pt2) where Data is acting captain, and acting first officer Worf has a public disagreement with following the captain's orders. The scene is on Youtube. Its a spectacular display of professionalism for Data, and shows he'd be an amazing captain despite rarely getting the command seat.
