  1. Boffed this completely. This was great. Maybe I was dying for a serious treatment of zombie spread (though 'Last of Us' has nearby themes, right?) BTW, any location with a metal door and lock can be resecured. 6 of 10, any kid actors that didn't slide into pomposity gets another point.

  2. I actually listened to the book on this one before seeing the movie. And yeah. You nailed it. "R rated YA." Overall I enjoyed both.
There was a sequel/prequel book that dealt with the crew of the mobile lab. It had some bits about what happened years later after the first book. I didn't enjoy it as much but it was nice to get closure on the story.
Hilarious as always. Also, sick ALF reference, bro. 😂

  3. If I want to see mutant kids I'll just watch Logan. This takes itself way too seriously for a zombie movie. It's kind of like looking at very old movies and realizing how directors and production members were thinking back then. Maybe it was different the year it came out but these topics just don't interest me anymore.

  4. I listened to the book before seeing the movie. I was really worried about the loss of Melanie's "voice" since a movie can't really linger on a character's inner thoughts like a book can. However, I was pleasantly surprised at this one.

  5. No.
Read the book. The movie sucks and nobody should watch it.
If you want more details I'll give them but all in all avoid the movie like you avoid your racist, homophobic sexist, possibly into girls who are a little too young uncle.
