  1. This is so scary to me because I have a pulmonary avm that hasn't been taken care of.. in the last 2 years it has doubled in size. It causes me syncope and extreme shortness of breath. I'm getting a CT scan of my brain soon and an echo bubble study. I've already had multiple chest CTs.. hopefully they decide what my treatment will be soon.

  2. My brother had a bike, he was 1mile from home a dog was coming across the road he swerved to miss it and there was a bunch of gravel on the road bc of a driveway entrance, some how he and the bike ended up in the woods hit a tree head on. The front tire was completely sideways and pushed back in the motor, there was bunch of damage it was totaled. He had a helmet on but it got knocked off, he had little pepples and dirt in his scalp and other spots all on his body. Nothing broken he had road rash and really sore for a week or so. We had a friend that a buzzard flew into the side of his gas tank while driving his bike. He had a few broken bones and road rash. It was crazy.

  3. EMS pre-shift bag checks are important for a reason! There’s no excuse for starting a shift without all your supplies accounted for and ready for use.

  4. When I pass out and seizure, I have the most amazing dreams like I'm meeting god and do happy. When people wake me up, I get so mad that they didn't let me talk to jesus. I also don't know what happened, where i am or who anyone is, even my husband. I pass out from blood sugar issues.

  5. it's more about the accidents/incidents, and the NDE stories are kind of underwhelming but at the same time it makes them more believable. these people can actually prove they died. there are alot of NDE channels out there with all these fantastical experiences, but TBH those are the ones i'm most skeptical about. the best NDE's are the ordinary folks like these people with vague experiences, nobody trying to sell books or online psychic readings

  6. These stories really hit me this week. When I was 17 my best friends mother died of a brain aneurysm in the middle of her job. 😩 this lady was so lucky. And just a few years back, my husbands lovely grandma who was a bee Keeper went out to tend to her bees, unsuited, and she was attacked by a nearby neighbor bee colony and stung over 112 times. She was home alone and managed to get her Epi pen and use it on herself, called 911 and also could only say “bees” She was not so lucky 🙁 ❤️
Life is one heck of a wild ride. Never take advantage of it, and live each day to the fullest. ❤️

  7. I started to have very bad migraine headaches when I was sixteen. My brain doctor finally said lets get an MRI just to show you that there isn't anything wrong with your brain. Four hours after the MRI Dr. Gulledge called my house wanting to talk to one of my parents. Turned out I had a large AVM right over my left eye. Had the AVM fixed but then had three bleeders about twelve hours after the original surgery. Went blind in my left eye and now have three clamps in my brain but I'm alive. So I know exactly what Kat went through.

  8. It's amazing how your brain tries to protect you until the end. No pain, no stress. Beautiful hallucinations are there to calm you and they certainly do the trick! And just like how your brain knows the parameters of your bed so you don't fall out, even though it's seemingly unaware, you can still "see" even though your eyes are closed. So the phenomenon of a person "seeing" what's going on is easy peasy for your brain. It's not god, it's not supernatural, it's not a miracle–it's just your amazing brain.

  9. People who drive like idiots aways figure they are only risking their lives but they endanger everyone on the road. That truck driver was minding his own business and got hit head on by a selfish jerk
