‘You’ll never threaten me ever again’: Labour MP Mike Amesbury repeatedly punches man to the ground

This is the shocking moment Labour MP Mike Amesbury punched a male constituent and hit him repeatedly while he lay on the ground. He had yesterday claimed he was ‘threatened’ before the attack at 2.15am on Saturday morning in his constituency of Runcorn and Helsby, Cheshire. But CCTV footage exclusively obtained by the Mail shows him launching a punch seemingly without physical provocation and then continuing to hit the man six times while he lay on the ground. #MikeAmesbury #labourmpmikeamersbury #MikeAmesburyfight #LabourMP #ChesireMP

  1. The man is an absolute disgrace to the Town of Frodsham. He has ruined the Town. All he does is sit getting pissed in the local Frodsham pubs all day spending Tax Payers money so a violent little pisshead thug like him can go around beating people up. This just about sums up the whole corrupt party he represents. He needs to be in jail for this mindless act of drunken thuggery.

  2. Two grown men having a disagreement. The Older one makes a move first and gets some punches in. Followed through while other man was on the floor. Nothing too concerning. Older man escalated whatever was said into blows. Needs to be fined and make an apology. Younger man big enough to take it but should get some compensation as he was not even in a fighting stance. Not worth getting in a hiatus about. But given we are in totalitarian mode and we have outsourced violence to the Police and Military this storm in a tea cup is about to take off.

  3. If I did that I’d go straight to prison even though I’ve been out of trouble for over 20 years… He would do well to learn like the rest of us by spending some time with the rest of us who have experienced punishment for our actions and learning the hard way as so many upper class people call it…. 1 rule for 1 is it 🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱

  5. The man assaulted here was not the same man who stalked Amesbury. And the victim clearly had his hands in his pockets. Amesbury didn't throw a defensive punch but engaged in a prolonged assault.

So his excuse that he felt 'threatened' looks dubious.

Amesbury should be arrested and face the same sentence as any other violent offender.

  6. The way things are now, he'll be straight up in court in the morning, and given 20 years – you know, to set an example to the rest of us that are thinking of beating the life out of an innocent, non-threatening, bloke on a night out, who's minding his own business. Yeah right. Two tier policing yet again. Like Manchester, this will be 'investigated' for months, before being quietly put on the back burner, and then forgotten.

  7. I believe alcohol is one of the biggest killers and problem of the world, if you look at some of people stood around here, they’ve had a few..
I just think alcohol causes alot of trouble and influence which has happened in this case…..
I never expect Parliament ever want to solve the issue of drugs. Alcohol, smoking , because a lot of MPs are hooked on the stuff themselves……and the revenue it brings in.

  8. Keir Stalin will ensure Amesbury gets away with this recorded assault of a member of the public. Labour are full of moronic, socialist thugs dragged from the trade union and heavy industries. There is a university professor in West Yorkshire who is an ex-miner and attacked fellow miners with a baseball bat during the Miners' strike in the '80s as he was secretly working for West Yorkshire police. He openly supports Labour. If you don't agree with Labour's harsh, cruel, evil policies that target the poor and vulnerable like pensioners, they will physically attack you to silence you.
We will see Labour's corrupt two-tier system kick in here. No 10 will lean on the police. Amesbury will be let off the hook, contrary to the evidence that he punched a man while he was standing and when he was on the ground. The witnesses, who are working-class, will be disregarded.
Labour voters in Cheshire and across GB need to quickly wake up to the reality that Labour are a malevolent, anti-working class, anti-white, anti-British party. They are the single biggest threat white Britons face. Stop voting for these people. They are extreme far left. They are communists. Labour will assault the pocket of the poor in the Wednesday Budget under Reeves, who is malicious. A Labour MP attacks a man in the street for the whole world to see. Starmer will protect him from the law. You must stop voting for these nasty, vicious left wing extremists, who hate you and despise our country.

  9. "Iron" mike Amesbury. He might be on the far left, but his his hard right, and his lighting quick left and rights that have left his constituency stunned. Hes currently 1-0 and will fight any man born from his mother outside the bears paw frodsham pub, 3am, must have drank at least 10 pints to challenge him. Winner gets to name his independent party after he loses the labour whip.

  10. He didn’t look threatened, standing arguing with the other guy. They both had their hands in their pockets in a very unthreatening way. Mike leans in to the guy before punching him. I wonder if Mike will be fast tracked through the justice system the way the so called “rioters” were?
