YouTube is getting crazier and crazier with who they deem unworthy. It started with the fringes and is slowly moving inwards, until the only ones not age restricted/shadow-banned are the ones who only talk about the topics that the censors at YT sees as acceptable (donβt worry, they wonβt ever tell you what part of your video is the trigger); any other point of view will get the creator unpersoned. There was a poem about this same phenomenon with the nazis or commies…canβt remember which.
This is undoubtedly a bot flagging itand sending automated replies. I work in IT, so I can see how you attempt to program a bot like this and where it can go wrong. Ripping hearts put could be a flag (ultra violence). The name flatline might flag as a suicide issue (very hot right now), especially when combined with the teen theaming. Imagine trying to write a set of rules for someone who barely speaks English to check suitability of content for all the different worry areas round the world (teen suicide, knife violence, gun violence, rape, sex, foul language, hate speech, anti government, etc…). You'll soon end up with this kind of paradox. What isn't right is that they aren't telling you what part of the community standards you're violating, so you can't even guess what is wrong. Don't let it get to you and keep creating fun videos.
Iβm seeing this far too frequently lately. Including comments. A single flagged word in a detailed comment completely erases the comment. This is effecting everything and everyone from the content creators to the commenters.
Even more, trolls flagging vids and getting them taken down is running rampant through social media as a whole. This is beyond insane.
They really aren't even PRETENDING to "carefully review" anymore, are they? You got a "carefully reviewed" message after six minutes…on a SIXTEEN-minute video? Contemptible.
If I had to guess it's the ripping out of hearts, but the whole system is pretty useless at this point. Given how utterly indifferent and automated YT has become, there's almost no way anyone not in the top tier of viewership that's going to get an actual human to review it. My worry is that Google has stripped that infrastructure so bare that they actually can't correct false positives at this point.
What would be super interesting is if you somehow got one of those top tier channels to release your video as is and see if the AI flagged it for them. I doubt it's smart enough to do that, but I do suspect it pretty heavily factors in channel metrics.
Honestly, it'll probably take a very public lawsuit from a ton of creators to even get noticed by actual people in a position to do anything.
This might sound stupid, but, at 1min 24s, Flatline appears to be smoking. She's not. She's drinking from a straw, but the AI might not be able to tell the difference.
It could be more simple. You used the word fo##play which only has sexual meanings in some dictionaries. Such t terminology would be 18+, ignoring context. You might have just used a βforbiddenβ word. Someone ran a search on a transcript and boom you get zapped.
You showed her holding robins heart and you talked about death. Boom! age restriction.

WHAT A LOAD OF CARP!
How can you follow the rules without being told what you have done wrong?
BULL$#!%!!!!
But you can only comment on 18+ videos here, or is that just me?
My guess is that the age restriction happened because of all the human heart ripping.
Maybe it was when you said "serial killer"?
The bot must have it done it.
Is what I want to say, but it could have been and underpaid human.
I've seen all sorts.
Is there a chance the algorithim doesn't like her holding a human heart?

Nothing seems to be out of order with the video. Looking for legitimate reasons maybe a waste of time, some people are just rotten
Ya think it has something to do with all the ripping out of hearts?
We have reviewed our own decision-making, and we have concluded that we were right.
You said foreplay. Nothing else. The end π
This video is flagged for being too awesome.
Lawyer them
Could have been the word "fourplay"
but two guys testing out dill doze is appropriate? … youtube is a joke. π …
btw, love your content and you deserve success π
if it run by bots then youtube may not know what the rules are lol
the stupid machine learning model makes shit up as it goes along or something

You tube needs to be careful, or HE will buy them too!
They did the most pg way of ripping the hearts out
Too bed he didn't remain dead β Hate that little bastard π‘
I didn't like the skull on the face. She has white skin so it makes her face have unnecessary lines on it.
Plus I find her as an outlier. She killed Damian doesn't that mean she has all of his skills and knowledge.

This is my first introduction to Flatline and I love her! Thank you for making this!
