  1. rest of this post: there was some nicely bent star pickets strewn about, some that had been snapped clean and a few that had very clearly been thrown in anger. Turns out, tow trucks make big grooves in grass.

  2. Not me nailing razor wire down in the tall grass running the length of the fence while leaving the broken fence after the first time they drove through it 😂 In court I'd say "Sorry, we were going to line the fence with it but someone keeps driving right through it. 🤷‍♀️ So we left it out for when we fix the fence. Then I'd sue them for the reoccurring damages they've caused. 😂🤣😂🤣 And for a new fence and razor wire.

  3. Leaving out materials is not the same as setting a trap, so the only way to really catch any backlash on this would be if whatever judge decides is basically a criminal sympathizer.

  4. The issue here seems to be what's legal vs illegal deterrents.
Visual ones like boulders seem okay. An obvious deep ditch could be fun. But a hugh sign warning of vehicular damage for trespassing is also a visual.

I would go with whatever is cheaper and easier to remove when they're ready to build.

  5. I would have put giant rocks because those are natural and you wouldnt be held liable for someone hitting them. Also you can just get those metal and concrete ballards and put them where the fence was.

  6. So the important question is where exactly is the property. Cause op mentioned the sea, and there are unfortunately many disgusting cases of people cutting off access to public beaches like that. I'm not saying that that's the case, but I'd hold off with condemning the trespassers until that's clarified.
