I'm very Online, but not on TikTok or in shipping communities, so I made none of those connections to Omegaverse or furries until you did. If your neighbors are as Online as you are, they probably already know about your work. 😛
This not-dog bed seems like it would be great for naps in front of a fire. But the whole reason those naps work is that they're unplanned. No pressure. You just fall asleep there with whatever comfortable thing is handy (like an actual dog's bed), ideally with a dog next to you. I'm not sure it would be as effective with a designated nap space.
The price is pretty high but as a person with chronic pain I totally thought this thing looks possibly good for those of us who regularly need naps this also would be good for autistic people as a kid and even as an adult I like to sleep curled up

You’re right about marketing to kids and parents. Weirdly, like 2 days ago, my 5 year old son convinced me to buy a large memory foam dog bed for him to put on the floor to lay on while he plays video game 😂. He’d love this thing.
I think I would have loved this as a kid as a reading nook/quiet spot to cuddle with my dog or watch cartoons (and as a Gay™ I love sitting on the floor so that's a plus too)

Hermes looks so much like my mini schanuzer, same colors, same floppy ears with cropped tail, and the way he jumps to play is just what my boy does too. Seeing him pop up in this video was a delightful, I love him !
The thing is, they do sell dog beds that are big enough for humans. I had an English mastiff that had an injury that made her unable to walk, and my family all rotated shifts for who would stay with her at night. We slept on her bed, it was basically a giant slab of memory foam, and it was honestly more comfortable than my college dorm mattress. And I know for damn certain it wasn’t $500.

I work at an animal shelter and I frequently spend my lunch napping on a dog bed made for large-breed dogs. It’s honestly delightful and I’m pretty sure it’s around the same size as this thing. While I wouldn’t pay $500, I know I’m definitely the demographic along with anyone that like falls asleep on the ground when they spend the day cleaning. It may be worth it dishing out $100 for a meant-for-dogs extra large dog bed to nap on
