  1. Honestly, I feel like opponent game 1 is not cool. Just concede, don't use the timer to your advantage. Sure, Seth should play to win fast, but there's always something to be said about giving your opponent the win when you know there's no way out.

  2. Just wanted to let the mtggoldfish crew ive really enjoyed your content. At a rough spot personally, and seths/crims videos have really brought humor and joy to my day to day. And made me a better spellslinger!

  3. Hilarious, leyline of sanctity is amazing against Yawgmoth. All of their payoffs target. Blood artist says “target player”, and Gerald’s Messenger says “target opponent.”

  4. Instead of milling, when he had 2 Gideon of the Trials in hand, he could have attacked with GotT then cast another to uptick the Giver of Runes, repeat on the next turn with the second GotT in hand (so 8 damage done leaving opponent at 8) and then on the third turn just swing with the whole team for the win.

  5. This would be fun with ratadrabik as well since he makes a Gideon that died a permanent creature which means deification's requirement would be met protecting both the gideon zombie and other gideons

  6. in Situations where opponent had Hammer+Life link instead of making opponent draw into oblivion I think it may have been a little faster to use Ally Gideon to start making Anthem Emblems every couple of turns.

Also RIP our Boy Gids, he went down to the worst thing a character can die to, Bad Writing.

  7. Am I missing something, or would Leyline of Sanctity have shut down Yawgmoth combo, and Heliod combo? Seth didn't put them in when he was sideboarding, but they seem ideal for both matches.

  8. I made this deck about 2 weeks ago, cannot stop playing it so much fun and opponents keep hope for so long because they think they have a chance, also faithbound judge is a great wincon against lifegain decks or decks you cannot kill easily

  9. Add Elspeth's Talent to the deck? Gives you creatures for the lock and also a win condition faster than "wait for the opponent to mill themselves by drawing 1 card per turn".
