  1. oh i watched pig slaughter live (I was about 8 at the time) it's sorta a traditional thing here in Croatia in Slovenija (mainly) cuz after sorting everything, the fat of the pig is later turned into delicious and sometimes crispy čvarke, dunno the eng name cuz I don't think it exists

  2. I did, my Dad was a butcher so growing up I got to see the whole process and now have a healthy appreciation for the animals’ meat. My Dad always pointed out the rolling green fields wouldn’t exist if we all went vegetarian as we would need them full of poly tunnels instead.

  3. This is absurd. Parent's don't lie to their children, they don't even say anything about the origin of food at all.

They give them food, the children eat it. They don't describe the origin of ham nor do they describe the origin of vegetables.

You didn't respond in any-way on topic to the accusation of your belief being crazy, you just brought up a seperate fantasy scenario of people lying to their kids.

  4. We dont tell them about where the vegetables come from either dawg. Its not relevant them, they literally dont care. Thats like going to you child and saying “hey kids this is how we fertilize (with manure) the plants you eat. But yup, lets just ruin the childs food nd appetite.
