  1. To think that it's so rare to find repairable device nowadays, although they exist they're probably so expensive to the point that nobody wants it.

  2. we have this to work on diesel semi truck, running a regeneration that temps goes up to 1000 degrees and the cab get very hot, those rugged laptop hold high temp with no issues for a whole 45 minutes 😂😂😂😂

  3. So cool to see the computer I use at work ever day. Love this computer so much, Dell has come A LONG way with all the versions we’ve used. Definitely taking on Panasonic tough books!

  4. what is the cheapest rugged waterproof laptop in the market right now? I just broke the screen on my surface go (after 3+ years of usage)… and it hurts the very soul xD so I think I need a rugged laptop next…

  5. I've worked in IT my entire career, and I've definitely sent the grandfathers of that computer out into the field where our engineers did explosive testing in the middle of the desert. They wanted a computer that could get left out in the weather, be tossed into the back seat of a truck while running, and still work like a "normal" laptop for the stuff they wanted to do.

  6. I've been a paramedic for 12 years and we've used Dell toughbook products the entire time. When I started they were barely usable garbage, now they're a genuine pleasure.
