  1. Although I am absolutely excited about this news, it kinda sucks that we won’t get Busters 2, Sangokushi, and some of the other DS titles considering the DS is over. Of course it doesn’t stop them from making remakes of those games or adding sequels to them.

  2. While Yo Kai Watch took up a good chunk of time of my childhood (crazy to think that it released in the US almost 8 years ago now), Level-5 also made Fantasy Life, one of my favorite underrated 3DS games pretty much ever. Whatever they release, if they do manage to start pushing their games out of Japan, I'm super hype to play some more of their stuff

  3. *checking out my 4ds games*ah ya fantasy life is level 5 if they come back maybe a fantasy life 2 on the switch might happen. But ya I miss these cute games they published.

  4. What I want for Yokai-Watch is they start taking inspirations from "Yokai" outside Japan like the Dokkaebi from Korea and the Anito from the Philippines. Basically collecting Asian cultures which Pokémon currently lacks

  5. I only played the Demo of Yo Kai Watch but I knew you were gonna do a video on this and knowing that Level 5 wants to bring back localization for there IPs is awesome! Hoping we get the Yo-Kai Watch Remake that was on the Switch in Japan.

  6. So basically L5 are still behind the times as usual in terms of global crossover. Level 5 is just an incompetent company when it comes to placing their IP's out world wide and it seems like that hasnt changed.

  7. I can see why they thought there was no market for them outside japan. Other than the genre not being as big back then, they seemed to be stuck in that they needed to change the games to fit the market.

They had some 4Kids level of bullshit in their localization. From random censorship and changes in monster designs to reference US media, to straight up trying to pretend that the game the literally have Yokai in the name takes place in the US.

  8. I finally got a new 3ds after god knows how long my old one was broken and I've been playing almost exclusively yokai watch 2, nice to know they might be getting yokai watch 4 over here in the west

  9. I'm more excited for Inazuma Eleven, but Yo-KAi watch is pretty good. Though I feel like we need to buy level-5's games to prove that they still have a presence and fanbase in the west. Though that's just me.

  10. My son (13) got yokai watch 4 recently and played it completely in Japanese even though he doesn't understand the language at all. But the reason I mention that is that the game is sadly very buggy. It crashed a lot of times hat big fps drops ans so on. He still enjoyed it but he prefers yokai watch 3 because of those issues. I hope level 5 will work on those before they release a western version of the game. Would be a shame if not.
Would also be nice if they would release yokai watch academy too since it seems enjoyable for ppl who liked yokai watch blasters or snack world.

  11. Now THIS is some hype stuff. Level-5 has always made fantastic games, and if nothing else, this could bring some classics like Fantasy Life and Yokai Watch to the Switch… or maybe even PC! That alone would be incredible, and if they're gonna be bringing out new games, well all the better! Definitely gonna have to keep an eye out for what Level-5 has up their sleeve!~
