Every Federal Bureaucrat with authority will stick their butt into the launch license process to get their name in the news. Meanwhile, China is saying “hold’em back boys”, we don’t have such ANY restrictions on our space program, in fact, it’s full speed ahead for us!! Good job Fish and Wildlife Service! Boca Chica needs to be proclaimed a special area, free of environmental regulations. Our space program is working with one arm behind their back, mean-while China has no such difficulties.
Yet the EPA / Eco-nuts still have to approve it.
Southern TX and the residents of Boca Chica will be boo hooing as their tax renevue dries up and the housing prices collaspe, and Elon focuses on expanding operation at the Cape in FL.

I'm happy to see that other rocket makers are given a good report. After all, America is needing breakthroughs in order to accomplish our goals. And these breakthroughs could be realized from many different companies.

The fact that ULA is going to be put up for sale has been known for some time. It would be interesting if BO bought it. Then they might finally put something into orbit.
When SpaceX sets up launch facilities in Australia, imagine them shipping Starships there suborbitally. I wonder if it might even be possible to do that with a Falcon 9 first stage. Anyway, imagine if the first manned, suborbital, transcontinental flight was from North America to Australia. I bet that would generate as much excitement as Lindbergh's flight did. Anyway, i think it will be cool if Australia become a major hub of launch activity, especially if some of the launch providers are domestic. Go Oz!
