I agree with you that patrons should be allowed to send in whatever videos they want you to watch, but considering you intend to watch some of these Genshin events in full, seeing these summaries will only spoil whatever happens on the event for you. I saw a lot of people agreeing with this in a comment on Friday' video.
I'd personally love to see you watching these events in full going blind, like you do with all the in-game content. Watching them after you've seen the summary makes them less enjoyable in my opinion, especially for the main cutscenes. They don't have the same impact.
P.S.: I haven't watched the whole video yet, only heard a few things you commented about it during the Lantern Rite reaction. Not sure if you say anything else throughout the video.

Monster hunting is both a necessity, a greed and a conspiracy. Basically we need to hunt in order to protect villages, people, crops and all that. But there are definitely hunts where it is just for the monsters materials, great ships to speed across the sand dunes to hunt great sand whales are almost purely for greed.
Basically everything is dictated by the Hunters Guild and unfortunately we may never know their intentions. All we know is that they keep the existence of certain monsters, like Fatalis in the video, a secret from the public. Who knows what else they hide.

im glad you enjoyed the xiao character design video!! its one of my favorites and gives you a nice insight into his character!! xiao is such a great character. the little circular thing in the trial is a treasure hunting seelie that you can get in an event. it reruns sometimes so next time you will probably be able to pick your own!! this design video actually gives you a good hint to his vocal performance in chinese!! english tends to have him a little more gruff but the voice direction in recent years has started to match the original chinese so you will start seeing xiao getting softer when he shows up 🙂

Yes, they show off the characters that are added in the update for the trailer.
Every other patch, they give out a free character. If you already have the character, you get a constellation. If you have them C6, you just get Paimon shop currency. Fischl is the only character to ever be given out twice.

surely you can have different theories because you've seen the context of Genshin much more carefully than other creators. The lore is crazy if you want to dig more and think more. But it's also ok if you just want to play casually without any heavy thoughts.

The version trailer usually showcases everything that's being added. If the version adds a new Archon Quest, some of its cutscenes will be in the trailer. If it adds a new area, there will be an overview of it in the trailer. If it adds new characters, their moves will be showcased in the trailer. So, it's definitely not the thing to watch beforehand if you're avoiding spoilers.
For example, the 1.2 trailer you watched had:
– An overview of Dragonspine, which was added in this version
– A showcase of Albedo's and Ganyu's moves, since they were added as playable characters
– A few cutscenes from the The Chalk Prince and the Dragon event, which was available in this version
– Some new enemies from Dragonspine, like the Fatui Cryo Cicin Mage and the Frostarm Lawachurl

A lot of people choose Lumine as main character, so you do see her in fan content quite a lot, but Hoyoverse videos always feature Aether as mc. I personally went for lumine because I like her dress and hair flowers a lot

Aether is and always has been the face of the Traveler in all official trailers and everything, so it's basically understood that as far as the developers go, he is considered the 'true' protagonist, with Lumine as the 'true' Abyss Twin. the dearth of Lumine used by Hoyoverse makes sure the fans work to have her represented in fanart, animations, comics, and all sorts.

For 5*s especially, you generally meet them much sooner than they become playable. 4*s you sometimes do but it's hit or miss.
