mostly Asia drive on the Left side you can say it is the reverse of the US drive lane
It is common to see a tour bus doing that because they have to be on time, so the smaller car has to give the way to the bus unless it's an Ambulance or any emergency department car like a firefighter, police, etc.
if you try to bring the police to negotiate it, it won't work, eventually, the driver and the owner of the bus will be responsible later on but in the middle of the road the police here usually just let the bus go away because it already a common sense to give a bigger vehicle like trucks, construction vehicles a way first.
