Thet, you've made this same mistake three times now. Overwatch and overwatch-type style skills don't work from stealth.
I think the Exiles might only work if it's the primary weapon, similar to how croc couldn't use the throwing axe all the way back.
Journal entry fifty three: Two missions today, the first was to destroy a transmitter, the GOC, Chyissalids and some Guardians, but nothing we couldn't handle. In fact, the bugs got squashed under our tank, before being electrocuted. The second mission was against the GOC, to recover some data they had, it went smoothly though Cowboy got a bit roughed up. The GOC seem to hit pretty hard, but they don't have much survivability, which is great for us, at least if we get the drop on em.
The blinding light is a weapon that you got as loot so you already have the item
If you do decide to get a new character make them a dedicated healer class (that can use some weapons to give em the oomph)
There's also a research that upgrades your grenades from bombs to warheads idk why it hasn't popped up yet for you
Shame that doomguy is still can't be used
