  1. For a little bit of context: Martina activated Bladestorm out of the Ruler Reaction of the Snake Pope from being hit (It counts even if the reaction is "I am frozen, I cannot do anything"), not out of her walking next to him.

  2. Hope you had a great vacation 😎 Just wanted to say that I think you’re sleeping on Tabby’s kill zone ability. You get a reaction shot on all enemies moving in the cone of fire (ammo permitting). This for example means that she can get a shot on every enemy in a pod during an ambush. Give her an expanded mag and she could take 5-6 reaction shots in a single turn!

  3. The Archon pope has a BS attack that can technically wipe the entire team within two reactions if everyone is within reach.
If he flies straight up, you must stun/freeze/kill him with the next move he can see.
Otherwise he will drop massive damage in a large area you cannot avoid

  4. I said on a couple of previous videos that you were sleeping on expanding your range. Lucky you've been on a lower difficulty most of the time, otherwise the avatar project would have got way out of control. It will build up very quickly on harder difficulties if you are not taking down bases

  5. Jon, when you do things like upgrade weapons or get one of the "better damage" researches, remember that you can give any soldier an assault rifle as their primary weapon if it's just objectively better than their current weapon.

  6. Jon, what a shame you were ready with frost bombs for the popes before your first encounter. You missed out on the sheer terror of those first ruler reactions. I lost almost the whole team the first time I saw a pope in the wild 😀

  7. Jon upgrading his resistance comms, then IMMEDIATELY ignoring the fact that he can upgrade his 2 perfectly serviceable power relays and then choosing to build ANOTHER power relay gave me a stroke

  8. "Well done, Bridget McKay, I did not expect you to still be alive at this point."

Well, she is Scottish, and if there's anything we've learnt this playthrough, it's that Scottish people are just genetically badass.
