  1. My preferred platforms are Playstation and Nintendo, they always have been, and as long as games are available on these platforms for me to BUY and OWN they will continue to be. Regarding the ABK deal, I personally don't play CoD or virtually any Activision or Blizzard IP, so STRICTLY in terms of ME PERSONALLY losing access to any games that I care about should this deal go through and MSF choosing to make those IP exclusive, I wouldn't lose out. Again speaking SPECIFICALLY on those games from a Playstation gamer standpoint that DOESN'T play those games. HOWEVER, even if you are a playstation gamer like me who doesn't play CoD or Activision/Blizzard games, we CANNOT say that we won't be affected by this deal. The money that Playstation makes off CoD sales and microtransactions, PS pushes those funds DIRECTLY into its 1st party output. To put it another way, having CoD helps PS have the best 1st party exclusives. So in that regard, as a Playstation fan, I hope this deal falls through. But that isn't the only reason. I also believe that allowing MSF to complete this deal sets a precedent that MSF doesn't have to invest in creating/innovating in making new IP that they can simply throw around BILLIONS of USD to gobble up whole PUBLISHERS. Regardless of whether this deal goes through or not though, this deal does nothing to close the gap between 1st party PS games and 1st party Xbox games

  3. I disagree that the deal with Nintendo and Steam smack of desperation. With those deals in the bag and public, Microsoft no longer needs Sony to get their deal done with Regulators. The whole take COD exclusive to only Xbox/PC/Gamepass is no longer a threat. Sony has lost its leverage to dictate negotiations for COD and could lose long term if they over play their hand.

  5. You say play games not corporations yet CONSTANTLY necking off Sony 😂.. Desperation is refusing the deal when they offer you ten years, desperation is saying without COD we'll die.. Desperation is telling regulators "Don't let this go through cause we fear Xbox can do EXACTLY what we been doing WITHOUT owning COD"..

Your so desperate you making STRAIGHT up lies and half truths 😂 like no bduh counting PS4 and 5 its 150m + PS users vs Xbox 75m users it's gonna be more purchases but your lying about the on average part.. You guys also keep screaming quality of games in game pass it's led to the most sold exclusive this gen between Xbox and PS in FH5 at 14.8m copies, while PS gives y'all GT7 one of the worst user scores games EVER… The quality of PS is remakes rushed games and NO new IPs in terms of games not set in pre established worlds..

Worry about the platform YOU enjoy and stop hating on a platform you don't play, let's be honest the Netflix comment even makes sense cause Sony's REFUSING to change they don't wanna play nice cause the use to being hands down on top… And same as blockbuster and Nokia, that's what got them put out the game and lbh both for the better.. Movies are more assessable and phones tech advanced further when touch screens hit.. It's on Sony if they wanna keep living not MS, they just did what PS would've done if Bobby Kotic called them stop the aww poor Sony bs..

  6. You can't say Microsoft 1st party games are b or c tier when they haven't released many yet lol.The ones that have like psychonauts & a Plaguetale have been bangers.Until these 20+ devs start releasing games(Hopefully starting 2023 & beyond) & they turn out to be "Shite" how can anyone watch this & not just see it as fanboy hate?

  7. I don't think CoD will be much of a good idea on Nintendo consoles. Those games don't exactly line up with weak hardware and where the hell will Switch owners store the game when CoDs always have massive file sizes? I'm certain playing CoD on Switch will be a miserable experience that requires you to upgrade to a much bigger SD card to even fit the game on your console (because we know that, even if you buy it on physical media, Activision will cheap out on the cartridge and make you download 3/4 of the game)

  8. I agree Microsoft has been about subscriptions since day one with the OG Xbox and Xbox Live like they don't even promote the series X it's all about Game Pass I personally preferred Sony and Nintendo traditional console approach

  9. The thing about the £70 games, look, games stayed around the £45 £50 mark for bloody years, I bought Tomb Raider 2 for £45 if you put that in today’s money with inflation that’s like £84 and games take an absolutely massive amount of development compared to the PS1 days. Yes MS play dirty, they accuse others of doing exactly what they are doing and I’m pretty sure a lot of the viral hate that transpired around some of the fantastic PS4 titles was proliferated by them. The Activision deal would be very bad for gaming because subscription is bad for gaming, look at Gamepass and the lack of quality games and indeed lack of games, I don’t see how it can sustain itself or even break even, how can you expect the kind of investment needed for top tier quality gaming, I’m not bothered by COD, I don’t play it, I’m bothered that Microsoft get Activision and eventually ruin gaming as we know it.

  10. Yeh, but, it's COD. The same old same old COD. Sure it's a money maker, which is great because… business… but another 10 years of people playing COD and complaining how COD is broken, how the hit detection is not accurate, bad map design, cheaters and overall bugs and issues. Least it gives PS 10 years to get their own FPS IP up and running…

  11. How do you go ahead making partnership deals when you have not yet acquire the company. This goes to show how anti-competitive MS is.
    They are desperate.
They have never been the one to compete. They'd rather cheat they way like they doing now.

If MS was a competitive company they would have stayed in the smart phone business.
    That's their true nature.

Nintendo is a coward for accepting a deal.Even though the purchase was not approved.
Coward move from Nintendo if you ask me.
