Man this was quite frustrating to watch… Bro wasn't even reading instructions and during that jiyan scene bro was just running around like a fool when his entire chat was going crazy telling him to attack….
Apparently Kuro was working with a studio who were told to do a us based accent which wasn't what the VA's found comfortable doing. They intend on changing that soon tho.

I'm gonna come back to watch this after I finish act V and VI (been slow cuz of IRL stuff lol), but so far the story has been bland as hell for me so hopefully it picked up a bit. I can ignore the faults of the story because it's 1.0 and it has to spend time building the world first, but my biggest complaint so far with the game is the super subpar voice acting from most of the characters. It's like the director handed them the script with lines but gave ZERO context for them on how to deliver the lines so 80% of the lines just fall flat or feel out of place. Hopefully it gets better as the game goes on. Still loving WUWA overall though and has brought back the spark of playing gacha that I lost while playing Genshin.
I have a problem in this game when they say TD my Brain puts a s in front to get STD.

The thing I liked the most of the story is that rover is despicted as stron in story and in cutscene. I hated genshin-s fight a boss, beat it and then be beat down in a cutscene. how are you still alive if you lose against everything?!
The real villain in this story is Tectone's cursor in the center of the screen

The story was pretty good but man the voice acting for some of these characters is so bad. I usually donβt care that much but some of the voice lines/tone of voice are so jarring during dramatic moments.

damn the dying midnight ranger's VA was incredible (yangyang is pure trash)
the characters reaction is kinda funny and on point, especialy rover, the fight againt the boss are very fun.
MY PROBLEM WITH THIS QUEST: they need to add more dramatic animation on the important things that was going on, ex: the dead soldiers that was talking to the general, i was surprised. my reaction couldve been, "NO WAY hes dead??" if they slowly animate that he was turning into a illusion and was actually dead. when Jihan cut the previous general's head, if they animated it more like cut the general head fast, put sword slowly on sheet, general slowly disappear would be epic since its the last time we meeting the previous general. animate more of the monster on the field especially when the Girl is reviving them, it would give alot of weight especially when its "WAR", adding more Monsters and adding extra dmg for monsters on the field (would give you a chance to actually die, if ur sht) attacking Rover at the same time (not attacking by waves but a more like a all out attack), then the main cast healing and fighting along side Rover then Rover slowly gaining her powers. IT WOULD BE VERY IMERSIVE. thinking that this is WAR on WuWa and im here witnessing it!!! the WEAPON against the BARIER, the barrier is presented to be a very important thing to the enemy the same us our weapon, the animation was very disappointing despite how important those two are.
in short: make it DROMATIC!!! add little more voice line for those dramatic animation, if WaWu wants to add more voice lines sure BUT put more animation SHOW MORE than TELL. but to be honest when Yangyang talk it sounds like SHE IS ABOUT TO DIE IN ANY SECOUNDS, Very DROMATIC which cancels out the dromaticless on the story.
