WTF is wrong with Elden Ring?! Some consumers are FURIOUS with From Software right now!

It looks like Elden Ring might not be the 10/10 game reviews are giving it. Did game sites like IGN cover up the games performance issues? PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players are all reporting problems with the game.

  1. I have a 1080 and I haven’t had any issues. Not a single crash in 20 hours of play time. I’m running it on high at 1440p and I’ve gotten a solid 60fps the whole way. Whatever these issues are they seem to have nothing to do with how powerful your PC is.

  2. Consumers mad game is hard.

Don’t buy souls games if difficulty is something you want to complain about.

Consumers also mad developers put game together as quickly, cheaply, and lazily as possible citing copying previous souls animations and copious glitches.

Welcome to capitalism baby! Don’t pre-order games that can be downloaded digitally. There’s literally no viable reason to pre-order games in 2022, especially when they eventually release the exclusive content. Other than that, don’t fall for FOMO.

  3. I spent $80 on the deluxe edition and returned it less than 2 hours later after i realized what an absolute mess this game is. I streamed it live on my channel if you wanna see me rage out on this crap.

  4. The stutter i because they did not handle DX12 properly. EVERYONE has the stutter on PC no matter what they say in the comments section.

DX12 Overflow and shader cache handling goes outside of the driver and has to be handled separately by a dev. which From software didnt do .

  5. ive had about 2 crashes so far … but thats because my game was typically running for over 8 hours lol nothing "note/bitch worthy"

other than that, I couldnt see my friends summon signs for a night or 2 … but it works fine now

  7. Anyone saying that the game is running bad because of your set up or because of some arbitrary setting is completely missing the point. The game itself has issues, especially with the first area near the castle. Fromsoft themselves already mentioned that and are working on a patch. Other than the select few areas they mentioned, the game has been running smoothly for me.

  8. Ryzen 5900x and a 3070. Haven't had too many issues. Graphics wise, it looks great. Got some frame drops but nothing game breaking, and I'm 1440 60fps high settings. Have a buddy on series x who hasn't had any issues either. Idk.

  9. If you know how to maintain a PC there will be little to no issues. Always benchmark your PC once a month all components. Do a fresh windows install once or twice a year depending on use. Many errors are result of updates leaving code behind. Update all drivers for all components and update any bios for MB and GPU.
    My rig
    12600k
    32g 3200 mhz ddr4
    Rtx 2080.
Stays a solid 60fps 99 percent of the time
    2560x1440p MAX settings.
    Rate drops to 58/59
The only real issue i see is pop in occasionally. That's a from software game engine issue.
I set up KB&M with my thumb trackball and menu settings. Changed the settings to show KBM on screen. I'm loving this game. Note go to Nvidia settings…. And set things accordingly. I had drops to 45ish fps prior to setting them correctly.

  10. I love the game but I wouldn't give it a 10 because of the PC performance issues. On PS5 I have had just a few issues but every game this size will have a few bugs but the PC performance is inexcusable. I originally was going to get it on PC but saw all the performance issues so I decided to get the console version, plus I'm sure the fast travel is faster on the console so that would be a plus. My only complaint is the multiplayer with randoms. They should have optimized the process, you just have to run around and clicking on summons signs until one actually works. Why are they still doing this? Playing with friends has not been an issue.

  11. I don't think the game is review bombed. The negative reviews are either from players who play for the first time a souls game and think that it's too hard. People you jumped the hype train and found out that the game is not much different than the previous dark souls. And those who I believe have a point, giving a negative review cause of technical issues.

  12. The game runs bad, the graphics is not that good and overall it's not a great game, just some better gameplay than DS and a big map, the history is not that good but is enough but the performance issues of the game are really bad this is the WORST Pc port of all times because this one was hyped the fuck out

  13. It makes me sick PlayStation has so many sales with how authoritarian and ideological BS. Censorship and propaganda and so many gamers just ignore it.

This troubles me more than another overhyped and bugged game coming out.

  14. If you think for one minute the popularity of one of their titles or how much the fans like the in game physics is enough for From Software to care about its player base let me kindly point you to the now abandoned and once religiously followed Armored Core series.

  15. The only issue I've had is the aforementioned, by other people, frame drops, mainly near the Tree Sentinel. However, two of my friends have had it where the game refuses to recognize their controller, whilst mine works fine, so there's that.

  16. Just want to point out that with a 1060, 32gb ram and an older amd cpu I get decent performance and minor stuttering now and then during specific things, or when loading new areas.

  17. Really, ever since Final Fantasy XV (FF15) came out, you couldn't trust a damn thing any gaming critic said. There's a slew of games that critics rated highly with glowing reviews that the true fans and gamers/players rated poorly and hated.
