  1. Holy crap the quality of rarities is insane now
    Rare revolte, ferrijet, hospitality, chalislime
Like holy shit I've been gone for less than 6 months and the rarity quality has sky rocketed
A tri brigade deck with only 1 ur?
    Sr house and omen?

  2. Well this box is kind of lame
would be a shame if people started playing less ass card games, roguelikes, or deckbuilders such as Balatro, FTL-Multiverse, or mayhaps the Bazaar

    A shame indeed

  3. These main boxes did suck a bunch of dick
but i bet i would say something different if those boxes had ancient gear support, like the best boxes of all time
    but no, all dogshit
this box is fine i guess…

also, i do like how this box has gizmek cards, i did ask for new machine support so, this is nice, might be useful one day…

  4. But hey! Look on the brightside. 4 years down the line when we get voiceless voice and Lo is inevitably a 3 off in a main box, at least Sauravis will be box gems by then.

(That's my copium trying far and wide to find positives).

  5. At this point idk what could make this guy happy in this game. Like, I get it, I also agree that Komoney sucks, but its been a while since these videos have had a positive tone. Yet for me, I've been having a lot of fun in DL with the releases since summer.

Yes, I get that main boxes suck to dig into, if you dont have any gems. But, there are always new players, players who have been holding gems for the next mini box, smart f2p players who hoard gems, players who dont do RUSH and have 2 months of gems between boxes. And this is the box! This is the box to dump every gem at. For the value, this box has potential to rival the GOAT box, Dark Dimensions.

Dark Dimensions on release, in Sept 2019, gave instant tiered decks in pure Element Sabers, InvokedSabers, and Invoked Roids. Thunder Dragon and Gravekeeper as playable decks in DL finally. And Berry Girls, while not initially viable, were playable with or without Invoked. It also supported the simultaneously released EX Dark Magician deck. Counting all the different Invoked varieties as one, that's 5 different viable decks on release after clearing a box 3 times just from that box and f2p cards, 6 if you include DM. And this box stayed producing a meta relevant tiered deck for over 2 years. With Sabers being one of the best decks on release, staying tiered for a full year until banlist hits. Dark Magician being the most prominent deck of 2020. Then, after the Saber hits, Invoked Berry Girls finally became a tiered deck over a year in. Gravekeepers stayed an Anti-meta deck up into the XYZ era. Then almost a year after release, Karakuri gets support becoming one of the most explosive decks of the time, needing the Synchro from this box. Thunder Dragon became one of the most disgusting decks ever with Levianeer's release and the pre-nerfd skill baggy sleeves, almost a year and a half later, coming in and out of the meta as playable for years. Gadgets became playable during the XYZ era, were used with a variety of different archetypes. And Invoked saw play as an engine for over 2 years, with it's longevity leading to the game's first forbidden card and one of the first instances of a banlist hit on a UR card in DL. And then finally, after the huge power vacuum left from the massive banlist hits in end of 2021, Ally of Justice Quarantine help Desperado rise up as the only meta deck that could contend against Noble Nights, and eventually Tier 0 Blue-eyes. And now once again, it is providing a foundation for future boxes.

Am I saying that this upcoming box is going to rival everything that Dark Dimensions provided? No. Just like there was no way to predict how much longevity that box provided. But, I am saying that his box has potential.

Tri-brigade will be viable on release. Besides pure versions, I'm sure we will see players try out melffy, ancient warriors, Dogmatika, Invoked, basically any archtype consisting of the 3 Tri-types, and obviously Lyrilusc making the TCG deck BirdUP. Besides F0: Utopic Future, the Simorgh link, and Apex Avian, BirdUp is essentially full power in Duel links.

Dragonmaids on its own will also see viability. Maybe on release, maybe after a banlist and format change. Dragunity I'm not as sure on, but I can see the potential. Regardless, both archetypes are a component to the TCG/OCG Dragon Link, and I'm sure cards from their archetype will be used in some generic dragon deck in the future at some point. Especially with REMD's release.

Invoked will be instantly viable. Giving more acclaim to the GOAT box. As you essentially just need the bundle, 2 Augoeides and Raidjin, and you're good to go. But if not, there's also box chips. Although I'm guessing 3 Suarvis to pair with 3 Veiler would be nice. Unfortunately Cocytus conflicts with Mechaba's Limited 1 status, but now you can potentially pair Invoked with any archetype that doesn't need it's normal summon. Invoked Thunder Dragon, CyDra, RitBeast, Water XYZ, etc, etc. Then, an anime is coming with a Branded storyline, meaning Despia will certainly come for DL. Who knows what that future banlist will look like, but IDS is surely foreseeable.

I can see pure Crystal Beast seeing at least rogue status. But possibly more, as with it's trap Crystal Conclave, the deck was previously able to establish itself as a anti-meta control deck, especially prior to the skill nerf. Now, these tools can allow for some more explosive blowout plays. And there's better future support to look forward towards. But, then we also have to factor in HEROs. Because since Raindow Neos is coming, playing pure Crystal Beast may just take a backseat to a Heroes CB deck that has potentially for crazy hand advantage. If this release doesn't solidify pure CB as a tiered threat, the HERO varient certainly will. And I'd be willing to be that future support for a pure build at some point will come that requires the cards from this box.

HERO is comparable to DM when looking at the Dark Dimensions box, where the EX deck compliments the new release. Yes, you will want(NEED) 2-3 copies of the UR spell in all HERO builds going forward. And the new deck has a lot of the main cards you need for the archetype, with other HERO cards being easily accessible through older EX decks, dream tickets and box chips. With instant viability and future support being inveitable.
You can play an E-HERO build, Yubel Neos, CB Neos, Armed Dragon Neos, Dark HERO, etc. Lots of content here.

More Dogmatika support. Glory Dragon is the main relevant release, giving Albaz more targets to Super Poly into. And I feel this is a positive aspect to note. Konami could have gone the TCG route and spread out the Branded releases(Prior to the structure deck) over each core set, all in Ultra rare or higher. Instead, here we have one at at N rarity. Dogmatika Ashiyan is also a good addition for pure builds. Now we just need Nexus and Maximus. Lastly Gizmek and Imcantations. We've had other Gizmek cards previously, so now they can at least be played as a pure archetype. But, both archetypes seem to function more as an engine to enable other strategies, and have been used in TCG/OCG viable decks previously. So, maybe these decks will find a home in the future one day.

With viewing Invoked as 1 archetype, that makes 7 different playable pure archetypes alone after clearing this box 3x. Although obviously the potential number of viable builds is much higher. I dont grasps the negative tone in which Mekklord uses to describe how many different archetypes are in this box. Like, what main box has ever existed, with 5+ potentially viable decks, that you can clear in 1-1.5 runs through?

Again, if this content doesn't satisfy you, what would? Only the most wishful scenarios like introducing a system to use gold to buy new packs? Or what? Furthermore, for the last year or so, the meta has essentially just been a revolving door of "Whats New". With outrageous skills that inflate the power of decks, causing them to swiftly be banned, and then replaced by the next anime-skill deck's release. Rinse and repeat. Oh, your old deck? It's now powercrept, or unplayable after a banlist hit. Obviously. But now, for the last year or so, you can essentially forgo all hope of future viability, unless it's support comes with a new skill. For the last year, besides S/T/Extra deck staples, there were very few archetypes that saw a resurgence after a fall from grace, and could compete versus the newest anime skill deck. That trend might not change, but at least this box will give hope of future value, with plenty of future boxes depending on cards from this box. Rewarding players for their investment.

Everyone I personally know in my FB groups, discord, etc is extremely hype for this box for obvious reasons. So yeah I get it, 3 runs of a main box is costly. Swapping some of the UR and SR's rarities would have been more optimal. Okay, okay cool. But man!?!? How are you NOT excited for this release?

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, we dont know what the selection box reprint card is. If it's Dropplet, I think GOAT 2.0 status may be confirmed.

    Tl;Dr
Konami could release Dragon Rulers, Adamancipators, or Zoodiac this Spring with a full year reign. Invalidating everything I've said hyping this box, but until then, this box should be viewed as the best box in years. with potential to hold up for a 1.5-2+ years easily. With potentially support 4-5 years from now using these cards, just like Dark Dimensions. And this box should be recommended to all new players
