One person has died after being hit by a wrong-way driver early Thursday morning.
The incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. near Loop 410 and Vance Jackson.
According to the Castle Hills Police Department, a wrong-way driver was going down the westbound lane 410 when it struck another car.
The driver of the vehicle struck by the wrong-way driver got out of the car and was hit by another car. They were pronounced dead at the hospital.
The wrong-way driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. The other driver is not facing charges unless found intoxicated.

The day is coming when breathalyzers will be standard equipment in cars like seat belts and air bags. If you've got alcohol on your breath, then the car won't start.
Don't they mean "if you are going to get stupid , drink and drive"? Uber and Lyft home is a lot cheaper than getting a DWI/ DUI. Arranging a ride home with a sober family member or friend is a lot cheaper as well.
