Worship – Sunday, October 30 (Reformation & Confirmation) at 9:00am

Welcome to worship at Immanuel! This week is especially important for our church, as we’re celebrating both Reformation Sunday AND Confirming two incredible young people. Reformation is often a day when we look back at our glorious history, but in this week’s Gospel reading, Jesus reminds us that the story of God is not something we can experience in the past, but that faith is always lived in the present. As we celebrate both Reformation and Confirmation, we’ll give thanks for a God who is still speaking, still reforming, and still making all things (including us) new.

Our stream will go live at 8:50am, and worship will begin at 9:00am. You can find a bulletin that includes every part of our service at www.immanuelholden.org.

Want to worship in-person but you’re not yet ready to come indoors? Join us for a simple outdoor service on Sunday in the Pastor Ron Jackson Memorial Chapel. Each service will last about 30 minutes, and we invite you to bring a chair in case the benches fill up. If you haven’t been to our chapel yet, just park in the upper parking lot (closer to the radio towers) and walk into the backyard. Our church is located at 346 Shrewsbury Street in Holden, Mass. As the colder weather approaches, we’re planning to move this service inside to our choir room next Sunday, November 6.

Remember that we are here to serve you in any way we can. To learn more or give, visit www.immanuelholden.org.
