  1. doing crop tours can make sleeping better or not. Till the crop is in the bin all you can do is guess. There is a lot of weather to happen between now and bin time. Thank god a guy grows more than one crop to round out the year. Looks ok and I know you have had better, but there is always next year.

  2. Matt I want to thank you for your wonderful tour and explanation. Very few have done any cover crop in our south central Minnesota area. I am wondering if you see any difference in the root system of the corn on cover crop vs no til vs. tilled? Such as stalk thickness and brace roots. We get a lot of wind and wind burts in our summer storms. I wish the best to you, Kelly and your family farm! I have learn so much from you about cotton. Your variety comparison in my 70 y/o wisdom would say to plant for a dry year and plant lower populations to get stronger ears and not follow the general higher populations the seed dealers promote to buy more seed. Buy for your certain ground and circumstances. I sold seed corn and always painted the rosy picture but it bit me in the butt.

  3. Don't know if this will make you feel any better, but, I had 207 acres on class a cotton land irrigated, well taken care of. This year averaged 157. Last year farm average was 231. Couldn't get it to cool down. Alot of big farmets around here won't admit it, but that's about the norm this year.

  4. Matt you and Kelly are on my prayer list 🙏. These are the tough years you heard about all your life. God does listen and he does answer prayers. Not always the way people want but he does. I know it in my ❤️. I have seen it for myself. I were younger and in better health I would come and help any way I could.
