Knew Billy Joe Armstrong’s mom.She was a waitress at a coffee shop I frequented some years ago.I think she liked her job because she didn’t retire for a long time after Green Day made it.
Wow, I was at that Quicksand/Seaweed show, but totally forgot the name of the venue until you mentioned it. I have a picture somewhere of the backstage door with a star on it and Quicksand’s name under it.
I love this video at large❤❤,. you remind me of what someone once said.. " Making money is an Action, keeping money is behavior, Growing money is Knowledge" . I once attended seminar and ever since then i been waxing strong financially, and i most tell you the truth….
I sure loved the punk bands of the 80's and 90's! I used to get The Aquarian, a weekly magazine, which reported on all of the alternative bands playing in the NYC area…great memories!
Excellent video as always, Adam. Since you were talking about your memories of seeing numerous bands at The Station, especially Green Day, with your point about seeing bands when they are still in clubs before they went to the next level and played arenas and stadiums…at the Jai Alai right behind that venue, a generation earlier, KISS played the there on their very first tour on July 12, 1974. That was when no one really knew who they were, playing third on the bill to Nazareth and Blue Oyster Cult.
Wow love the nostalgic trip back in time. An 80s and 90s kid like you, the older I get the more I reminisce on my childhood. Growing up then was just a special time, you could be whatever the hell you wanted to be. So much more freedom and opportunities for artistic expression. Keep making these nostalgia videos Adam!
Oh wow Adam. Darby Allen has gone on to AEW and has sense become one of there biggest stars. He often works with Sting. You probably know who the wrestler Sting is. But yeah it's cool you saw him on a smaller level before he became a big star.
Thank you Adam, this one really took me back. So many great bands mentioned. I had forgotten all about quicksand and sunny day real estate. Mentioning quicksand also made me remember snapcase! Took me right back to my teens/ early 20s!
i get nostalgic for things from the past and things of now that is why i keep a journal with pictures of tv shows i watched movies i stick things from places i have been to or things i ate or packaging i think are cool or prices of things like from flyers you get in the store or just little things i pick up or family pictures i take a lot things are always changing and stuff like that it is cool to look back on it and i write a lot in journal i also put Newpaper clippings and articles as well that is why i call my journals my daily time capsule journal just something i love doing have so much fun doing
I used to know a band called Orange Avenue that was from the Orlando/Deland area. Hearing you say "Orange Ave" numerous times made me think of them. Thank you!!
Dania Beach Jai Alai just started its two month winter tournament with new talented players. Its the last place you can see old school Jai Alai in the US. A Florida landmark est. 1953. You should go check it out!
I'll be honest, I didn't realize you still made videoes. One of the last ones I saw was from a year or so back and you said you weren't traveling anymore so I assumed you quit. Not sure why you popped up in my feed but it was a nice nostalgic feeling to see ya again. Stay safe in Floriduh!
I've met Possum Dixon myself. Their from north Carolina
Dude, I’m nostalgic for 2019. A Lot has changed in 3 years. Feels like 20 years ago. I dunno, maybe it’s just me.

Listening to you talk at the beginning of the video… 90s music was the best. I miss those times.
This one was chocked full of so many themes. Those are some of the best videos. I suppose you went to a variety of shows every week.
Wow, I was at that Quicksand/Seaweed show, but totally forgot the name of the venue until you mentioned it. I have a picture somewhere of the backstage door with a star on it and Quicksand’s name under it.
Possum Dixon! Yes Adam, I have their 1993 self titled debut album on CD. I bought it after hearing the song 'Nerves'.
It was a restaurant that was surrounded by train cars
Great video,,,Its always fun to re-visit old memories,i do it all the time.Your the best bro.

Gregg Allman played the Jai Alai fronton in 1974…
I sure loved the punk bands of the 80's and 90's! I used to get The Aquarian, a weekly magazine, which reported on all of the alternative bands playing in the NYC area…great memories!
Really like these nostalgia videos
Reverend Horton Heat has a fantastic Christmas album.

It's so hard to say goodbye to good memories. Adam thanks for bringing us along. Moejoe
Hi Adam!!! 🤩
displaying an american flag unside down is a disgrace. shame on you .
Oh wow Adam. Darby Allen has gone on to AEW and has sense become one of there biggest stars. He often works with Sting. You probably know who the wrestler Sting is. But yeah it's cool you saw him on a smaller level before he became a big star.

When you post videos like this, I save them to a help me to sleep file. Cause they are sooooooooo boring.
So jealous you got to see Radiohead in a small venue! They're one of my favorite bands but I've only seen them from nosebleed lol
I used to know a band called Orange Avenue that was from the Orlando/Deland area. Hearing you say "Orange Ave" numerous times made me think of them. Thank you!!
Don't see Roller Derby anymore
I would have snagged that deer for sure! Poor plastic deer no one cared…Joseph looks a little angry. Cool Nativity though
Yes Darby Allen can be seen on AEW Wednesday on tbs and Friday on TNT.
I remember this spot! There were a few occasions where I had to change busses right there. I miss Florida…
My first job in college was at a greyhound track. We simulcasted jai alai.
I used to watch and enjoy it, won me some money too!
Cool video. That area was already dying but the 17-92 flyover was probably the nail in the coffin for the fronton as a commercial venue
Dania Beach Jai Alai just started its two month winter tournament with new talented players. Its the last place you can see old school Jai Alai in the US. A Florida landmark est. 1953. You should go check it out!
Now that is a large nativity set. Kinda scary actually. 😀

Loved the dead Kennedys unfortunately I never got to see them live.
