By far the closest thing to an active warzone at the borders of the two Economic Giants Johore and Singapore. Amazing episode by CNA showing the challenges and obstacles of the typical ICA officers and the travellers themselves as well as how they brave through it. Hope to see a similar documentary on CIQ's side. But fret not, the tough times are dissolving as strong bilateral relations created the RTS line that should make crossing the border more bearable π
I'm glad I used Tuas Link when I had business between JB and SG.
Idiotic car driver digging himself into a larger hole whilst his wife is trying to salvage the situation is a joke π€£
HOOOP ALL! πͺπ
My utmost respect to ICA officers and thanks for this great documentary! It goes to show that SG customs have a proper procedure in place that is the SOP consistent throughout. Thatβs why they have the confidence to make this documentary. I appreciate the fact that custom officers take the effort to tell me clearly the procedure. You donβt get this level of standard anywhere around the world.
It's pretty impressive to see how good Singapore's government is, and how it became one of the highest GDP country despite being so small. My country is unfortunately have a corruption habit that passed down from generation to generation
so happy to live in singapore knowing that we are protected by these brave men

Is Woodlands really the busiest international land crossing in the entire world? I always thought that the San Ysidro Port of Entry between the Tijuana and San Diego areas was the busiest international crossing in the world on the US-Mexican border? I've been to San Ysidro before. There's so many people crossing the border at San Ysidro everyday that it's best described as an organized form of chaos!
It's actually amazing to watch how the men and women working at the San Ysidro crossing process that many people everyday. I respect the men and women working at busy crossings like the Woodlands crossing and San Ysidro. They have very tough job to do, and they do their job well even in dealing with a lot of grumpy people who wait in long lines to cross those borders.
I kind of disagree @39:03 heard the officer first said *wind down your window*, take note without saying PLEASE. US and UK border still treat travelers with dignity for the lack of better word but singapore ICA loves soooo much power trip lah. So you kind of get a taste of their own poor treatment from these random travelers hor
