Saber Interactive has just released the latest update for World War Z: Aftermath, the ultimate co-op zombie shooter inspired by Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster film. Titled “Against All Odds,” this free update adds a host of fresh content to the game, including new “Jerusalem” and “New York” Horde Mode maps, seven new mutators for Challenge Horde Mode, and a new melee weapon: the baton. Players can also now play as any character in all PvE episodes for the first time, with improved AI party members who can use heavy weapons while playing alongside you.
In addition to the “Against All Odds” update, two new paid DLC packs are also available: the Deadly Vice Weapon Skin Pack and Rat Packs Weapon Skins Bundle. Each DLC pack costs $4.99 and includes four specially themed weapon skins. Plus, players on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One can unlock a bonus in-game weapon skin and exclusive collectible trinket by registering on PROS (Prism Ray Online Services), a new platform powering online services for select upcoming games from Saber Interactive and other game providers.
World War Z: Aftermath, powered by Saber’s dynamic Swarm Engine™, lets you take on hordes of ravenous zombies with up to four players in full crossplay between PC and consoles. The game includes all content from World War Z: Game of the Year Edition, as well as two new campaign episodes in Rome (including Vatican City) and the Kamchatka peninsula, and eight unique classes with customizable loadouts. Experience the heart-pounding immersion of Aftermath’s optional first-person mode and decimate the undead with a new melee system.
