World Eaters – The War Hounds || Warhammer 40k Lore



The World Eaters, originally known as the War Hounds, were the XII Legion of the original twenty Space Marine Legions. Their Primarch is Angron, sometimes known as the The Lord of the Red Sands or the Red Angel. The Legion was amongst the first to turn traitor during the Horus Heresy.

  1. I still wish their story went a bit different. Have him saved by another Nucerian before the slavers, give him a safer, more stable, and modified psycho-implant, and you have the primarch and legion be the original plan the emperor wished for them. Based off what I read it seemed these guys were supposed to be the ones that represented the emperors strength and honor. Could’ve had a legion with spartan and overall Greek culture and vibes, like how the dark angels have a medieval vibe to them.
