I didn't expect Arceus to win by any stretch, but figured some Arc combo would be up there in the top tier.
I’m still salty that Mew won worlds. It’s honestly my least favourite deck archetype.
Another japanese player who played against me in round one played a very similar list to Mahone's.
Kyogre lzb actually made top 8
This is probably the last time we'll see Mew vmax. Charizard is going to blow it up anytime it shows up again.
0:44 I was impressed to see nobody swap a Genesect for Skwovet. This is so OP, you can draw cards with your first genesect, you don’t like your hand send it back with skwovet and the genesect again for a full hand. At least people figured box of disaster.
Mew winning worlds- in the words of Nate Diaz- I’m not surprised mf! No matter who you are and how much you hate it you have to admire how well it did in the face of adversity and constantly being countered
Yay!!! Bouffalant! That card is so fun. Not very good, but I played with it a ton about a year ago and "energied out" a lot of decks to make them unplayable. 😂 It is actually very good, unless your opponent has any form of energy acceleration. Which is everywhere in the meta right now.
