  1. Nice timed post; I did that 5-star this morning. Took me a bit over an hour, but I used Foresight twice. Once because I made an error and wanted to see where my initial goof was, and again when I was stuck (only looked 3 moves ahead instead of 4). Thanks for the vid, Tyler. You and this game are both pretty amazing.

  2. I feel like tyler just turns his brain off when doing the "shuffling-type" shifting blocks puzzle and just keeps on trying random movements, unlike when solving logic grids

  3. If you’re watching this on iPhone you can screenshot and use the pens to solve the puzzle. It’s just as fun and you get to see Tyler explain his way after. I love how he proves everything with logic it’s really refreshing. Also congrats on the 5 star

  4. Tyler needs to understand that there's never going to be a cell that has two valid solutions. There's always one answer to the logic grids. If marking a cell as white means that the adjacent cell could be either black or white and there'd never be any way to prove either wrong, that initial white marking is going to be incorrect. An example is the 5 star puzzle at 4:34:00 where, yes, marking the 6 that way is wrong, because the top left corner could then either be black or white.

It's not a required thing to know in order to solve any puzzles, but it does make it a lot easier, like knowing to block checkerboards in puzzles that have the connect all like-colored cells rules.

  5. for that 2nd 2 star puzzle at 58:10, after getting past the initial part, the rest can actually be guessed pretty easily on not that much thought
since there's only 2 remaining, and since the puzzle is vertically symmetrical, the 2 remaining tiles have to be in the middle column
ignoring the empty tiles closest to the viewpoint 4 in the centre, and excluding white from being in the tiles one out from that, there's only 3 options remaining (black in middle top/bottom, white at top/bottom, black at top/bottom)

sure you don't know why it's correct since you're guessing, but still

  6. The speed at which he learns the basics of these puzzles at the beginning of the stream is impressive I'm like looking around trying to find the place to start the puzzle and by the time i've considered like 1 numbers implications he's solved the whole puzzle lol.
