Great video again! Have u got a gorgar would love to see you fix one
@4:17 let's call that the shocked coin door 🙂 SInce it's rounded return shute looks like a mouth and the coin mechs are the eyes 🙂
That looks like chipboard to me
That's what we call it in the UK
Hay Ron do u remember arcade Crusaders that's me lol
I had one from Spain I think it was a Prospector pinball. Like you said the playfield was perfect,to bad domestic companies could not have done the same.
This is a great pinball by Playmatic. My favourite one by this company will always be "Last Lap"
Good mr. Bezos… (!) looking forward to the rest of the videos 🙂
The 250cc is also spanishi think
I have a Mars-Trek by Sonic 🙂 Made in Madrid Spain, allegedly. I think it's similar to another US manufacturer but I can't remember. The outside is yellowed and chipped and beat up, but the playfield and play is perfect. After months of my restoration of course 😀
Interesting! The cabinet looks somewhat like a Spirit of ‘76. Haha, you didn’t mess with the “Donnie” switch. Thanks! And thanks for the video!
Estupendo! Thanks Ron, looking forward to seeing what you find, repairs, and gameplay!
Yes Seggasa playfields also seem to last better. I belive their spanish again? Made under license to Williams. Great video as always Ron looking forward to the rest on this machine.
I always thought late 70's early 80's Pinball machines manufacturers made the pointy plungers.
But I guess spain was doing first..
Try to slam my hand on that thing holy.. I'll have a new hole in my palm.
Ouch.
Neat!
I wonder if it could be General Custer
They have the Williams coin door, but Williams has an upside down Motorola logo for there W :).
The way the playfield stands up on these is pretty awesome. The playfield and glass don't even look faded at all! It really is like a more modern version of the EM, using more modern plastics compared to American made ones.
Hy Ron i cant wait to see the second video of this awesome series 🙂🙂
I think that is buffalo bill. it makes sense with the train and everything and the long rifle. he used to hunt buffulo with a long rifle and had a wild west show in which he showed the American west to people of Europe and his traveling show traveled by train. the rocket is a gemini rocket. the covered wagons would be part of the show for the indian attacks
Its so clean… I dont like it 🤣. Something just feels off if an EM isnt all dirty. Its like this never got played.
Cool! It's interesting to learn that a lot of spanish pinball machines were exported to the US back then, even with all the american companies rolling out thousands of machines every year!
PS: got my t-shirt today, I'm already wearing it!
Definitely a different Heinz 57 of pinball machines, Ron. Thanks for taking us along for the restoration.
FWIW "SA" in Spanish company names means “Sociedad Anónima”.
Great video Ron. The cabinet looked like it was painted white, is that so? Is any power lose in changing it over to our power system? Can not wait for the next video.
Your analysis with the schematics just blows my mind. Man do you know your stuff Ron. Wish you lived closer to me up here in Canada. I could use your help with my machines some days. Cheers!
The Americana on that machine from Spain makes total sense if you recall that the 70s was the era of the Spaghetti Western and anything referencing the American Old West would have been red-hot. So you're going to get old steam locomotives and such. Not bad!
JOE!!! how r ya!!!!! loving it!!!
Doesn't SA mean "friend" in Spanish?
Yeah, I was a hitter! Girls liked it, if you could hit it right!
