  1. I have a Mars-Trek by Sonic 🙂 Made in Madrid Spain, allegedly. I think it's similar to another US manufacturer but I can't remember. The outside is yellowed and chipped and beat up, but the playfield and play is perfect. After months of my restoration of course 😀

  3. I always thought late 70's early 80's Pinball machines manufacturers made the pointy plungers.

But I guess spain was doing first..

Try to slam my hand on that thing holy.. I'll have a new hole in my palm.

    Ouch.

  4. They have the Williams coin door, but Williams has an upside down Motorola logo for there W :).
The way the playfield stands up on these is pretty awesome. The playfield and glass don't even look faded at all! It really is like a more modern version of the EM, using more modern plastics compared to American made ones.

  5. I think that is buffalo bill. it makes sense with the train and everything and the long rifle. he used to hunt buffulo with a long rifle and had a wild west show in which he showed the American west to people of Europe and his traveling show traveled by train. the rocket is a gemini rocket. the covered wagons would be part of the show for the indian attacks

  6. Cool! It's interesting to learn that a lot of spanish pinball machines were exported to the US back then, even with all the american companies rolling out thousands of machines every year!
PS: got my t-shirt today, I'm already wearing it!

  7. Your analysis with the schematics just blows my mind. Man do you know your stuff Ron. Wish you lived closer to me up here in Canada. I could use your help with my machines some days. Cheers!

  8. The Americana on that machine from Spain makes total sense if you recall that the 70s was the era of the Spaghetti Western and anything referencing the American Old West would have been red-hot. So you're going to get old steam locomotives and such. Not bad!
