At approximately 9PM, driving through the Piney Woods of Texas, they observed a huge diamond-shaped object flying low above the isolated road, expelling flame and emitting significant heat. I worked in industrial radiography. Betty’s burn on her hand looks exactly like she came into contact with a radioactive source, such as iridium 192 or Cobalt 60. The symptoms of the after effects are constant with electromagnetic radiation. There’s two types of ionizing radiation: Particulate and electromagnetic. We used a .1 x .1 “pill” of Iridium 192 to X-ray steel welds. Thick material required Cobalt 60. When new, the source would be 100 curies, which diminished in strength based on its half life 73.892 days. This story of contact with a UFO utilizing radioactive material is very likely.
I've heard this was a non human vehicle in Americas posession, and they put a nuclear engine in it. This was a test flight, escorted by helicopters, and it was completly out of control of the pilots by the time it encountered these civilians.
