Destiny Klimaszewski is advocating against drunk driving after her life drastically changed because of one. In 2014, she, her husband, and their 15-month-old son were driving when a drunk driver going 87 miles per hour hit them. Destiny’s son, Parker, died instantly. Her husband, Corey, died 24 hours later. Now, she has created a documentary about the incident to spread awareness about drunk driving. She shared her story with Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall.

I want to see that documentary!!!
I am so saddened about the family cruelly killed in 1 second when some selfish bish decided to drive drunk yet again but my heart is so full to hear of all the amazing work she's doing towards the cause and so happy she found a loving understanding husband and 2 beautiful kids ❤
Such a strong, brave woman.
I feel ur pain😢my father at 21 became un alive by a drunk driver. I was 5 at the time. 😢
This is one reason why I cringe when I am at a wedding reception with an open bar. So many weddings and parties have endless amounts of alcohol.
Damn this is awful
This is why ALL !!! alcohols must and needs to be outlawed once and for all !!!
I feel so sorry for her and her family… WHY would anyone want to drive drunk that should be uncalled for at least she survived the crash while her husband and baby died and the other person didn't have her license taken away she should be in jail like anyone else but the government is flawed at least she found someone else to love most other people don't or won't find someone else but I'm glad she did good for her I didn't realize that the other driver died and that's a good thing.. isn't it
If the person had a 6 DWI they shouldnt have a license
No excuse for drunk driving ever. Period.
Love and hugs to you ❤❤❤
This is so sad and heartbreaking, I wonder if the thought "Why did my baby die? I should have died instead of him." Has crossed her mind. Her husband and her son were both so young when they died. What a tragedy. I feel so sorry for her. I can't even imagine how hard it would be to lose your spouse and your child. 😢💔
Hope the kids have heard all about their big brother ❤️
its sad how many people depend on this drug to get by day by day. we need to do something about this epidemic and judges need to be harsher on these situations as it can ruin innocent peoples lives.
My condolences for this woman. I hope she found healing after this tragic loss. Losing your high school sweetheart and your child is the most painful tragedy
MORAL OF THIS HEARTBREAKING STORY : "NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE!!! 😭😥👎🚫🍺🚗 IT CAN HAVE DEADLY CONSEQUENCES!!!"
What channel is her documentary on?❤😢❤😢
1 DUI should = WAY worse consequences.
Bless her. What a story. I'm so glad she found healing. Her second husband sounds like a real stand-up guy!
I have been to therapy before. It helped me a lot. ❤
I totaled a my car in2003 and I haven’t driven since luckily no other car was involved but I feel I don’t deserve to drive again.

I was drunk and I thank god everyday for sparing my life and no one else was involved
I drove for forty years and that was my only accident but it just takes one to take lives. I am truly sorry about urs
I was actually nearly t boned by a drunk driver this Friday morning and ended up with my truck wrapped around a pole. Thankfully I was able to get out of the situation with minor injuries but the driver of the semi who was actually still drunk from the night before since it was barely 5am was actually driving a professional vehicle for his job has terrified me to point of never driving again. Ive seen far too many accidents caused by ppl who refuse to stop drinking and driving but it was actually my father who was an alcoholic that was always drinking and driving that made me never want to be in that position. This womans story is absolutely heartbreaking and made me cry which isnt often, I don't know how she managed to get through that situation without dying from a broken heart.
My heart breaks 💔 for her
Terrible!!!
I feel so bad for her.. no one and I mean NO ONE deserves to go through this….
What a beautiful, brave Warrior mom and vidow ❤❤❤
Wow you’re so strong Destiny!!
I was 9 years old and I was in the car with my mom. Holding on to my seat for dear life. My mom was drunk behind the wheel. That is the reason I don't drink. If my friends get drunk I'll be the DD. I have many more stories. But this one changed my life
Wow I didn't think I'd randomly see Destiny on my YouTube suggestions. I used to work under her around this time, like 10ish years ago You mostly never would have known by interacting with her she'll forever be one of the strongest people I know fr.
I CAN NOT EVEN FATHOM THE AMOUNT OF PAIN AND SUFFERING SHE HAS BEEN THROUGH! 💔😭 I COULD NEVER BE AS STRONG AS HER TO KEEP GOING AND NOT GIVE UP! 😭
People stop calling it an accident. It’s not an accident. You know the decisions you make when you drink and drive you have a possibility to kill yourself or someone else. An accident is like putting a cup of water on a table and spilling it onto the floor. That’s an accident.
God Bless You
I think if you have 1 dui then you get a second you shouldn’t be able to get a license for 3 years.
Her baby would be 12 now. She would have spent the last 10 years raising her baby with her husband had one person not tipped her life inside out. Devastating.
Anyone with a dui should have their license revoked. Some many have had their lives taken by drunk drivers
God heard your pain and He sent you an angel 😇
No one should drink and drive, evev if it is one drink.
My heart breaks 💔 for you ❤️🤗🇬🇧
Respect,heartfelt condolences n family/friends stay strong
Rip to this innocent family. Deepest condolences and grievances to family and loved ones.
that’s not just driving against under the influence, that’s murder.
The lady who was driving drunk had no business being on the road, I am sorry for her loss, and I am so happy that she was able to find love again after such a traumatic experience.
I’m so sorry Destiny, you experienced such tragic losses. Prayers for peace and Justice.
How you just do you give justice to someone who has lost everything like this? Not even fathomable. I’m so heartbroken for her but this woman is so admirable and resilient. Her husband and beautiful child would be so proud of her.
Your story will for sure save some lives 🙏🏻. (and break our hearts for you 💔)
I think he husband's soul chose 2 go with his daughter's soul over having a life with out her as much as he would miss his wife leaving his daughter was worse 😢😢😢
I lost so much respect for my brother when he was busted drunk driving. Its unforgivable.
