Woman killed, child seriously injured after police pursuit ends in Layton rollover crash



LAYTON, Utah (KUTV) β€” A woman was killed and a child transported with life-threatening injuries after they were both ejected from their vehicle in a Davis County rollover crash.

Utah Highway Patrol authorities said this investigation began on the morning of Sunday, Sept. 29, when troopers responded on an Attempt to Locate for a vehicle witnessed traveling at a high rate of speed on I-15 from Salt Lake County to Davis County.

When troopers attempted to stop the vehicle the driver reportedly failed to yield and took an on-ramp at milepost 322 onto Antelope Drive in Layton.

  1. That's not true in that pig can't prove that I had a friend that was in a car accident it rolled over they said he would have lived if it wasn't for the seat belt wrapped around his neck that broke his neck and killed him so no they don't always save lives

  2. I was forced back from a car exploding while a 15 kid sat screaming "help I can't release the seatbelt" he burned to death. I was 20 now am 65. I can't forget that moment. I do wear a sealt belt regardless. They don't always save lives.
