I doubt the wings were being served. She probably was just ordering them from the same distributor that they were getting their school lunch stuff from. Who knows, she may have been feeding the community or at least reselling it to the community much cheaper than they could get it from stores. my thoughts to this story are : 1. we don’t know what she used those wings for — what if it was indeed to feed people? 2. I think about all the businesses (including schools that throw out so much food every single day that could be for folks that actually need it. As someone working in this industry, she could’ve possibly seen this too, and decided to do something about it. Bet them wings ain’t go to waste. Sad she gotta be in jail for something like this .
